There should be a sign in every FFA spawn:=================
Do not team in FFA!
Teaming = 3d ban
=================
And alerts every minute your in FFA:
WARNING: Teaming in FFA will lead to a 3 day ban.
Why should we stop kicking first?
The rule would be obvious. Anyone continuing teaming would obviously just have total disrespect for the server, and other players.
Kicks are useless, what if a group is teaming in FFA for a whole hour, and no moderators were available to handle the reports? They basically got away with teaming in FFA, and when a moderator comes on, they will only get kicked, after ruining the game for many players for an hour. I don't see how it is fair for players who are following the rules. Immediate 3 day bans would discourage those who are currently willing to take a kick.
Alternative Idea
We could make a special type of ban, just for FFA and Meetup (if these are going on seperate servers soon it would make sense). The player would get a 3 day ban from those gamemodes only.

+1 also a special small group of mods designated to moderate FFAs.Posted on 13 March 2016 - 05:23 PM

Not unless FFAs become a separate server. As long as it's part of arena, it will be moderated by arena mods.
I (personally) am in favor of a system where if a player gets two kicks within a couple weeks time for teaming in FFA, the system will automatically upgrade their second kick to a three day ban. Punishments from then onward would theoretically escalate, and so on.

Why only in a specific time period? On the second kick its a ban no matter what.

I think a 3 day ban is too severe. Teaming in UHC is also a 3 day ban but the impact that a team has on everything is way heavier than just normal ArenaPvP FFA. Think about it, UHCs take about 2 hours to run for one game. If you get teamed on, it's more effort wasted than playing Arena, in which you just jump down from the safe zone. Also, ArenaPvP FFA doesn't have a leaderboard. It's not as competitive as UHC. If anything, I believe it should only be a 1 day ban. Still a ban, but in my opinion 3 days is just too harsh.Last edited on 17 March 2016 - 07:40 AM by CraftBukkit

The point is, they are deliberately breaking a rule and ruining it for others.
