Well in that case, why not just make all punishments of the same length? Why not make a Disrespect mute the same duration as a Death Threats mute? It's because there are levels or severity depending on the crime. That's the point I'm trying to get across.

You gotta understand that for dedicated Arena players (like myself) it totally ruins it, which is why actual players are saying "+1". We see it as a severe offence.
