Since s13 is going to be a big season I thought I would post a few suggestions for it.1. Maps
I feel that some of the maps don't really fit the kits. For example, UHC/Advanced UHC are supposed to represent real UHC situations, in UHC you wouldn't be in a giant wooden box. UHC/Adv. UHC/Archer kits are most enjoyable (imo) in large, flat maps with some natural structures like hills, caves, or trees. The season 10 maps were awesome for these ladders tbh. Build UHC should have smaller natural terrain maps that represent actual UHC scenarios but in a smaller map so that players are encouraged to melee. Once again, season 10 had some good maps for build, like the small desert map. Season 10 also had some very bad maps like the huge grass map. SG should also have these small maps except with an sg atmosphere instead of UHC, meaning more structures/maybe some water.) The other ladders are good except gapple which should be using the same maps as kohi, no debuff and vanilla.
2. Build UHC Arrows
While Build is supposed to represent a real UHC it also has to be fun and intense. Players hiding behind walls and shot camping takes the fun out of it, especially with limited healing. Build should have no more than 40 arrows, preferably 32. I know that everyone has their opinions on this, but the majority of the servers wants less arrows anyway, why not change it? 64 arrows can just make for a very long, boring match.
3. Iron Build FNS
Without some form of fire the water buckets have pretty much no use. This kit is meant to represent an actual UHC, and players usually have fns, if not a lava bucket at this point in the game. (Some even have fire swords…)
4. Unranked Duel Wielding UHC
This is a kit that I think the majority of the server would like to see. It would consist of a strong main sword (s1/2 Diamond?) and a fire aspect iron sword. The armor and healing would be a cross between build and iron build so maybe half diamond. Players have no way of practicing duel wielding which is now very common in the final shrinks of a UHC.
That's about it >.> Tell me what you think about these suggestions

About to make a very large thread chastising the builders, especially on the skywars mapsPosted on 20 March 2016 - 04:03 PM

Clearly you've never played a real UHC

1. diamondplease nerf the arrows to arround 16-20 , i think people use the arrows and waste time and you should have to use them Tactically
2.Maps
more flat maps like that wood one for mainly bow ladders
3. build blocks
decrease build blocks to 64 and a half cause people just spam blocks
4. make the ffas more fun
better maps and make it more enjoyable

I've talked in private message with GButt about lava and here's his (rather stupid) answers:http://prntscr.com/am7ye2
http://prntscr.com/am7yi3
As you can see, he has no knowledge of how players actually PLAY the game and doesn't answer directly. He also didn't answer after I said the things that clearly proved him wrong.
Anyway, I like this thread. +1
