So i just realised the way people play this ladder is fucked up. what happened to using the bow like a rod and trying to get combos? All I see is people jump Crit block hitting and getting one hit, how is this fun? the person who can get 1/2 double hits wins. when I get over 1400 ill be leaving the ladder for a whilePosted on 20 March 2016 - 05:35 PM

The whole point of kit diamond is to emulate an OCN situation, where bows are and were used quite frequently. Just because the kit might be played a little differently, it isn't necessarily "bad" or "wrong".What about strategy? Skill in w-tapping? Timing your blockhits? Using your bow to an advantage? There's a lot more to the kit (and any kit for that matter) than you'd expect. I'll admit though, that it can be a frustrating gamemode to grind… :pp
I feel like removing the bow would entirely destroy the point of kit diamond, and would increase the number of jump-critters etc.
Besides, how would you resolve the issue? It isn't like you can force people to play differently.

Im acctually fully in favour of the bow, as i said its the only thing keeping the ladder good.

I don't think many people share my opinion, but I'd be really happy to see the Diamond ladder switched to an all-melee ladder, basically. Kind of like the Legacy kit we had a little while back. I really enjoyed that kit, because it gave me such good practice in just plain sword combat.
