If you want to dodge EVERY SINGLE ONE of Hivlik's debuffs in Vanilla or probably any debuff kit do this.-On the very first hit of the fight he will always throw a debuff basically. Just crit and then while in the air hold s. It gives you a ton of KB and you dodge his debuff.
-Wash and Repeat. He will literally do this every time.
Respect to @Hivlik. I have come close to beating him in Vanilla and should have beaten him, but he is a great player. Work on your debuffs though bud.

This is why I don't use debuffs in vanilla except for the regen II splash pots, the manner/time when you throw them is so easy to read. Debuffs do nothing in vanilla anyway so lolPosted on 21 March 2016 - 10:35 PM

Poison is countered completely by the regen, weakness LITERALLY takes 0.5 hit points off your sword, so you do the same damage basically. And I just start jump-critting if i get slowness

Weakness has always given me a problem if the other person doesn't have it. I get like a 5 hit combo and they don't pot at all but they 3 hit kill me lol idk

If you miss all your debuffs and the opponent hits you with poision, weakness and slowness it's pretty much game over.

Sometimes it can be the opposite, I am horrible at debuffing and only bring 4 debuffs - I usually end up missing all 4, but with a KB sword and the good o'l Wspam I kept a decent KDR last season

How do you enjoy pvping with an advantage over people? Kb swords take the fun out of vanilla.
