Well there's your problem.
Hackers have very little effect to the overall elo.
There are more hackers then alts.
Alting isn't an issue.

meh, sg is full with hackers, 6 out of the top 10 are hacking, so because they hack a legit player cant get 1st, which ruins the elo system. alting may effect less, but its allowed, which i think should be disallowed.

1st of all, elo doesnt get wiped if you hack.
2nd of all, it doesnt matter if it did because the hacker got elo that he didnt deserve, which he obviously got from people, so someone had to lose elo because the hacker hacked.

badlion is trying to do the perfect elo system, which means that if you dont improve or get worse, your elo wont change. but when people hack and alt, the perfect elo system cant be achieved because if I lose elo to a guy that is more skilled then me and he has less elo (alt) then my elo doesnt mean my skill.Posted on 10 April 2016 - 03:27 AM

Imo alting is the same as dropping your elo to 1400 and elo manipulating so it should be disallowed. Also most high elo players have at least one alt and normally more.Posted on 10 April 2016 - 03:31 AM

I dont get what you mean? if consistency is ALWAYS beating players that are worse then you, if you fight a guy that has 1400 and is better then you, with that logic you should still lose, but instead of losing >16 elo you lose 31.
