Sometimes, but I don't think defensive particularly defeats aggressive at the highest level - at least, not yet.
e: and that's far from the point. A build match is at most 15 minutes long, and there's so little in common between an arena math vs. an hcf match that it's entirely incomparable

UHC is more intense honestly because you only have one chance at the game. Everything that happens can change the game because once you're dead, it's over. HCF is less nerve-racking because if you die, you still can get back into the game later.Posted on 11 May 2016 - 08:10 PM

This is coming from a Arena pvper (i.e. me):It's true that you have only one life in UHC, and if you die, it's over. In HCF, you technically have infinite lives, and if you die, the only things you lose are your items, your faction's DTR, and 'respect' for you, you could say. That's what makes HCF more intense imo. You're constantly under pressure by your factions not to die. In UHC, dying doesn't really do anything besides waste your time.

It depends what server to be honest.
There are some servers which have ore rates increased, some servers have them as vanilla, and some decrease them.
