Hello fellow blades, today I am going to make my Pvp guide! (Beat this Basar!)Strafing
- Press A and D to strafe side to side
- Make a combination of Tapping A or D. Then you can press down W while doing this. Example: Hold down A, then switch to D and holding down W at the same time. Mix this up a bit
- Don't just hold down A or D with W all the time. It's not going to make you strafe that much. Instead of holding W down with A or D just hold down those keys WITHOUT the W
- Its as simple as it looks. Tap W. If you do you will stay out of your enemy's range.
- When tapping W it's a unbeatable combo to strafe at the same time. Example: Holding down A while tapping W, then switching to D while not holding down W.
- Also there is another type of W-Tap. To do this tap W then quickly tap S to go backwards. Make sure you hold down W a bit longer than the S. It may be difficult to strafe, so this is mostly for straight line combos. Great pvpers like Stimpay use this.
- Without combos, Pvp will be boring. I'm going to teach you how to combo! Basically a combo is a series of hits where a opponent cannot hit you back.
- Strafing is a key part of combos. You cannot master combos unless you have mastered strafing. If you are just starting off, a beginners move is spamming A and D. To clarify do not rapidly press it. That's what I thought at first, IT WILL NOT WORK! To do it correctly hold down A for one second and THEN switch to D or vice versa.
- W-Taps. W-Tapping is an important part of comboing. If you have never used W-Taps before then your combos aren't very long. W-Tap keeps you out of range of people but keeps you in. That's a key factor in combos.
- As simple as it sounds just block while hitting. 1.8 animations are different from 1.7 so if you are not comfortable with how the block hits look like I suggest you download labymod.
- If you do not know how to blockhit just tap the left and right button on your mouse at the same time.
- Block hitting is very successful when it comes to combos. It will make you take less knock back, deal the same amount of damage while taking half of the damage you opponent is giving you, and it acts as an alternative to W-Tapping because it slows you down.
- Finally we have click speed. It may not seem important because MC only registers 4 CPS (Clicks per second) but if you have ever clicked faster than that you can see particles are thrown off. Many people believe that clicking fast will help combos, make you unhittable and stuff like that. I don't see how this works but it does. If you do not know how to jitterclick, then try to click as fast as possible. I personally do not jitterclick, I get around 6 CPS without jittering.
- Finally last but not least, aim. It might not sound important but it really is. To get better aim lower your MC sensitivity and if you have a gaming mouse, lower the DPI. The better the aim, the more hits you will land. I didn't believe in this until I tried it. My cursor literally never left my opponent and I returned twice as many hits as they could get.

The difference between 6 to 8 is huge. The day after I learned how to jitterclick I noticed it immediately.
Anything upwards 8 does make a difference but it's somewhat hard to notice and arguably unnecessary. I guess you're right there.

The amount of hits registered in a second is actually 2, not 4. And click speed helps with combos since hits register faster and every click it will very briefly reset your sprint allowing you to combo for longer.Posted on 14 May 2016 - 06:30 PM

I'm pretty sure I said that having a fast cps is an advantage, not that you only need 2 cps.
