There are a few reasons why I believe that Badlion should create a Japanese/Asian proxy.Kohi Asia, which was hosted in Tokyo, was recently removed. That was a well-known high quality server that we, for the first time in our lives, got good ping on. If Badlion Asia PotPvP is not possible to host, Kohi Asia should at least be given back to us.
Minecraft is massive in Asia, especially in Japan, and it is still growing. There are thousands of active Japanese Minecraft players, and I personally know over 30 players that are addicted to MCSG and other PvP servers. I know 15 players that play Badlion, and 5 of them are no life tryhards. Some friends of mine don't play Badlion because of the lag that puts them at a massive disadvantage, and often tell me that they really wish Badlion had an Asian server. I'm actually not lying here. Also, look at the usernames in MCSG; usually, ¼ or more of them are Japanese, and they were a problem a while back - with their 15 player clan fights that ruined everyone else’s games.
There is a Japanese server that is similar to Badlion in many ways called Syuu. It is a PotPvP server, and since it is new, it is not well known yet. However, it has over a hundred players in it at most times. (Proof: https://imgur.com/a/03JY4) Now, you might be thinking that we should just play on small servers like that, but the problem is that these little underfunded servers are full of flaws that make them unplayable, at least in our eyes. The signs are either in Japanese or Japlish (makes it harder for us foreigners to understand), there are loads of bugs and glitches (Syuu, for example, has a horrible knockback system and starts lagging every hour or so), there are many hackers (small servers don't have many moderators and good cheat detectors), there are not many 'good' gamemodes, and the admins are very inexperienced. Therefore, we need a reputable, stable server like Badlion to tryhard on.
Kohi Asia was running very smoothly, and it is a known fact that Japan has one of, if not, the best internet services in the world. The country is ahead of its time in terms of DDoS protection and basically in every technological field. Also, the government is more stable than most other countries, wealth is distributed better than most other countries, and it is very safe online and offline, which shows how developed the country really is (http://www.businessinsider.com/why-japans-murder-rate-is-so-low-2014-4). So, to show how low the crime rate in Japan is, here is proof. Telegraph.co.uk mapped the homocide rates in capital cities around the world,
(http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/12037479/Mapped-Which-countries-have-the-highest-murder-rates.html) and you can see that Tokyo has a homocide rate of 0.2, while New York has a homocide rate of 5.1, and many South American cities have a homocide rate of over 100. It shows how equal and satisfied Japanese people are, although there are some problems here and there (e.g. tax) and how messed up South American nations are at this time.
We know that the protection and technology does come with a big price tag. However, if Badlion Asia/Japan comes out, Japanese players and other Asian players will definitely start noticing how fun the server is, and will start playing on Badlion again/more often. (There are many Asians that already play Badlion.) Also, countries such as Japan, Korea and China are pretty wealthy, and there are many up-and-coming countries too, such as Singapore, so more people (spoiled kids) will be able to afford ranks and donate than in the US and some other countries, where the top 20% holds all of the money. Although this is outdated, here is a bit of proof. <http://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user5/imageroot/shirakawa/Wealth%20Distribution.jpg> Here, it clearly shows that Japan distributes its money better than the United States. The opposite is true for South American countries by the way, where the governments are corrupt and the economy is extremely unstable. There are quite a few of donors from Asia at the moment, with the 200ms of latency, so think about what would happen if Badlion Asia was released. All of my friends’ families are doing very well financially, by the way, and can easily afford Lion ranks.
Many people from Asia are monolingual, and cannot speak or understand English fluently. Therefore, many Asians cannot make their Badlion forums account/don't follow Badlion on social media sites, and therefore, lots of opinions are going unnoticed. There is a large number of Asian people who wish to play Badlion without the lag disadvantage (my Japanese friends are a good example), so there are a lot more people who would kill for an Asian Badlion than you all know of.
There are already many active Asian players on Badlion that are dying for an Asian Badlion, and there are Asian players that don’t play on Badlion because of the lag that would play if there was an Asian server. Asia, and especially Japan, has great hosting conditions and although it comes with a high price tag, it will be justified by the increase of donors and players. Please consider creating a Japanese (Asian) Badlion. Think of all the benefits an Asian proxy will bring to Badlion. Thank you.

Though new proxies aren't supposed to be requested, Shnoopy does make a valid point regarding kohi's asian server and the potential for a large asian player-base, as they say minecraft is growing in areas like Japan. I feel like the inclusion of the homicide rates is pretty pointless and overboard, if that Syuu PotPvP server can get over 100 players, I'm sure Badlion could get the same or more, and that's not too far from the AU player count I believe. @MasterGberryPosted on 22 May 2016 - 02:04 AM
I already posted the similar thing.https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/112818

Thanks @PratamaWe are working on getting an asian location up and running. Taking us some time.
If you have any host suggestions too I'm open to hear them (good anti-ddos).

One of my recommendation is https://www.sakura.ad.jp/ .Because the site is in Japanese, you might need a translator.
I will go search for more good hosts with my friend (who is a lot better at Japanese) later on.
p.s. Omg thank you so much MasterGBerry for Badlion Asia!
Again Thank you so much MasterGBerry!

Guess which server I will be moving to until badlion has asia…Posted on 22 May 2016 - 06:14 AM
Excellent post!Very good points.
In my opinion, the server should be in Hong Kong or Singapore, because I think that a server in Japan is good ping for only to the Japanese, Korean and the Pacific Ocean.
Anyway, this is the best post I've seen.
I support Badlion Asia!

Common Ideas/Suggestions wrote
- Cost
- DDoS Protection
- Where our clients are located
- Network Quality
We cannot just pick any server location and add new servers there. We are always looking for ways to expand our network. Even with our small Austrlia servers, we did not add this location until we saw via our Donations that there was enough of a prescience in the region. We are not going to add any locations if we know that they won't sustain themselves. Anything new we add is an extra cost to the network.

You're a really immature person.
Just because you are from South America, you do not want people from other countries to enjoy.
