So, as my third day as Trial-Mod I have realized something quite bothersome. A lot of players believe that /msging a mod is more likely to get them to see you. This is not true at all. Here, I'll demonstrate to you why. This is what a /msg looks like -

and here you have the /report message -

Notice how much more colorful and noticeable the /report message is! Now you might be thinking, but MeMyselfAndCube, there's tons of reports! This isn't true at all, I see each and every single report, because of how few there actually are in contract to the number of players there are. A /report will also notify all staff on that server, and if there's been multiple, staff on every single server; not just one staff member like a /msg does. Hope this cleared up this common issue among some of you.

Another thing to add (Correct me if I'm wrong) is that staff can't ban during ranked. They risk their rank if they do.Posted on 07 June 2016 - 01:54 AM

it is what it is, we can, but avoid banning in ranked because we lose rank if its false. As far as I am concerned, the donor stuff is outdated because we can't look ranks up easily, so i treat all players the same.
