I am really perplexed as to why the mods don't ever seem to do anything about my reports. I keep fighting Astrexity and she keeps using Forcefield right near the end. I should be winning, but she doesn't hack until it should be a one hit kill on her. No mods help me, I keep reporting her, and I keep going down in my UHC rankings. I just want mods that actually help, instead of mods who mute people for saying eZ.I just want some freaking help and recognition from online mods, but all I get it… blank. I even ask them in chat to see my report and to do something, but they just keep muting and warning… muting and warning…
Honestly, Badlion, do something about your mods.

Tons of reports come in all the time, you're not the only one making a report. The Mods do their best to get around to all of the reported people to check and see if they are hacking.Posted on 13 August 2014 - 01:55 AM
I think a lot of the reports are inaccurate. I get people msging me saying HAXOR GO F URSELF. And I clearly don't hack. Part of the issue is people can't correctly identify hacks. I know how you feel. So many aimbot hackers e.t.c get away with this. I think staff should play a lot more 1v1 matches, war , e.t.c so they can help get rid of the hackers. The report system is crap, doesn't work well on a large server.Posted on 13 August 2014 - 02:47 AM
A lot of people truly don't understand the difference between latency and hacks. That's another reason why we try not to PM people who make reports, as they think they are always right. Often times people who think their reports are ignored are actually reviewed, and we have determined that no hacked clients are being used. Potion pvp is a bit harder to moderate as reports come in 1 by 1. When I mod soup the majority of the player base is in FFA so when reports come in I see like 6+ on the same guy. We never want to discourage people from using /report, as if you have a hunch that someone may or may not be using hacks it's still worth investigating. However there are times where the build up of reports just gets too high and it does slow us down.Posted on 13 August 2014 - 05:29 AM
Maybe we should do something to better educate our community on what hacks ACTUALLY are.So many reports so why not take the backstreet?
(Ignore reports like "OMFG HAX", "LMFAO SWORD REACH.", "REACH!@@@")

The 2 people who actually answer my reports are Varicks and BurntCactus. Whenever they aren't on it's hopeless reporting a hacker.Posted on 13 August 2014 - 04:59 PM

My ban/mute analytics say otherwise, but hey to each his own.

I actually used to hack about 1 year ago when I was terrible at PvP. I know what hacks are like and I can tell when someone is hacking versus latency. Astrexity doesn't hack until just before she dies, where she quickly turns on kill aura/forcefield which is as easy as pressing the right arrow key.I am not wanting to disrespect any staff, as I did not know so many reports came in.

Although I appreciate this, this isn't true. All staff do their jobs, some are online more then others of course, and some do their job better, but there's definitely a lot more mods who handle reports then just myself and Varicks.

This is my opinion, and I honestly can say that I have dealt with hackers a lot, and so has everyone else, but you have to realize they will be banned eventually. The staff on here are great. I have been on no other server where the staff were this kind and available. People can't be on all of the time. Every person on here has a life to live. Just contact an online admin and tell them to "watch your fight" when you see you are against a person you think to be a "hacker". Also don't be a nuisance, keep your ./reports formal, and so the staff who see it aren't already annoyed with you. Have an awesome day.Posted on 16 August 2014 - 07:17 PM

This is true. We get hundreds of reports per hour, a large amount of which are incorrect. Usually when a person submits a report, they're extremely confident that the accused person is hacking and if they don't see them banned right away, the person will often continue to submit reports on them, accuse the person in public chat and even complain that the mods aren't doing their jobs.
If you're really sure that someone's hacking and really want them banned, you can try collecting evidence and make a report. Hackusating and disrespecting the mods won't help anyone.
I'm sure some others can relate to this.
