I think the staff team can be worked on, PMing a mod and getting a response is almost impossible ( "almost"), i also believe that the staff team rely on gcheat too much, lets be honest its not perfect, and there is a /report function for a reason but i dont see most mods reading that. Instead of relying on gcheat so much i feel like mods should start to rely ont here own thinking more and if a player is in need or needs help, i feel like the response should be quicker than it is now. I see most mods muting the chat, but then there are chat mods barely doing anything, i feel like the duties can be more specific to each type of staff type, because rn chat mods are useless (no all of them but most) and i feel like since mods dont need to worry about the chat, they can pay more attention to the people it self,
-also, staff members act alot robotic unlike before (not all but most), it would be nice to show some personality, however most badliopn players may not accept that seeeing the toxicity level go up, but that shouldnt stop staff members from being who they are.
-and i think uhc hosts and the all mods together should keep and eye more, cause there are certain things u guys miss which makes this community hate more, and catching these things could help the server, a ton
Anyways keep up the good work

I just found out of JustAHotDog's permanent ban from badlion, and I was disgusted. This is an example where the badlion staff really needs looking into. People who promote content on badlion are what make the server, and keep it alive. However, some authoritarian rules on famous players, like not allowing them to go on other servers is not on, and discourages them from creating content on the server. You really need to take a more lax approach on famous players @Pokenick as these harsh rules really do put a bad name to the server. You can't ban someone for "being a twat" as it is utterly unprofessional. You're letting your emotions get in the way of decision making, which really brings a question of the professional state of badlion staff. Otherwise, the staff team for the most part are above average compared to other servers on minecraft. There also needs to be more staff who focus on badlion's 1.9 servers. This is constructive criticism, so please take it into account.

I only play ArenaPvP, Practice and Factions.

ArenaPvP's staff has been awesome in my opinion. However, I don't play often, but when I do I don't see a problem. Chat seems clean, players get banned by GCheat. Practice I feel is another story. Whenever I am online I hardly ever see staff online. Chat on Practice is very bad considering the rules Badlion has. People are constantly hackusating and spamming about a loss or making a insulting remark about the network and how things were better in the past. Honestly these problems are so common a screenshot from the public would do no good. To me it seems the staff of Practice are waiting for S13 to start moderating more (speculation), which isn't fair to the current player base that plays Practice. Faction's staff also seem dead. I see 4-5 people in the support waiting room as well as multiple post on the website that are not responded to by staff.

TL;DR - Arena seems nearly perfect. Practice has a toxic chat that breaks the rules Badlion has put in place for the server to follow, staff are either not online or do not control chat at certain times of the day. Factions staff seems absent, multiple players are always in the teamspeak requesting help and post on the forums asking for help are not responded. Also Kohi's reddit is not moderated often. I have seen post about selling autoclickers, to post about other servers. I think the Reddit should be privated if it's not actively moderated.

I have played Kohi since 2013. I have played Badlion on and off since 2013

My main issue with the staff members now is the lack of emotion. It seems like they're mostly robotic in their messages (especially on the forums). I mostly do not have issues with trial moderators because they are very kind and helpful. It's mainly, though not all, the full moderators and the seniors that have a lack of emotion when replying. Most of them reply with one word answers or short sentences. Back in 2014 when I used the forums only a little, the staff were very welcoming and had passion/emotions.

The next thing I feel could be improved on is finding staff members for help on other platforms. What I'm talking about is teamspeak help. I know there's a help room for factions but I think a general support room for the entire network would be extremely useful. If not, please enable private messaging/pokes on the teamspeak channel. I'm requesting this because I was false banned once and I found it impossible to contact any staff members on any platforms except Twitter, where they don't reply anyways. Private messaging is disallowed on forums once you're banned, and you can't do anything on teamspeak except join the music channel. Please implement a system where you can actually contact staff for help when you're banned.

Other than that, the staff team has been pretty good. I joined Badlion early 2014.

Thanks for the heads-up. I changed it. Getting my time played from Kohi, and guesstimating the time I joined Badlion as I played it before Kohi's practice server (at least in my mind). I agree with having staff on other platforms. Having staff to cover both Teamspeak, Website(/Reddit) and Twitter would benefit the server. I think it would be nice to have a weekly change log from each manager of the network.

It seems that me and my friends keeping getting muted for the wrong reasons. As well as one of my friend got banned for asking a question that meant no harm or didn't break any rules, then he got banned permanently for "Death Threats". What i'm trying to say is that it seems current staff don't know exactly what they should mute/ban for so they just come up with reasons on the spot.

Okay, I am not the most experienced badlion play out there, however I do know a couple of things that I would like to share.

The staff are not that bad. Nothing is perfect and there are flaws but from my experience UHC is a tad better with staff and Arena PvP is a tad worse.

I don't think the problem is the staff however, I think the players make it difficult for the staff. If a player is frustrated then I understand. However, players should be educated on how to act to a staff member because spamming chat might help but it pretty much just makes you look like an idiot.

Example: A player is frustrated because they think that they are false banned. This player is so frustrated that they go straight to making an appeal and don't look at the rules. They make the most annoying and disrespectful appeal ever and get denied. This player then blames the staff member that banned them. So where is the fault in this situation? The player is not educated.

I started in badlion 2015

I hope this helped and I want to say that this thread was a great idea. Good job Archy.

If I can add, GBerry, it would simplify things far more if you implemented the GChat system you once started. There are some words (such as the n-word and kys) where there's no reason for them to be in chat regardless of context, and it would prevent staff from needing to take out time to mute those types of people. Some phrases and words couldn't be censored, like if someone said "im bad rn" and you had bad censored out because people have been saying "ur bad", then that would be incorrect
I hope you understand what I'm saying I'm tired lol

The Kohi staff is almost never online it seems, and I feel there's an endless amount of cheaters in the NoDebuff Queue.
Also, I remember asking xNinjax10 to spectate a player on Kohi for me when I logged onto NA 1, he went onto Kohi but was somehow unable to notice that a player was obviously cheating (I reported him later on the forums and he was banned).
./report basically does nothing on Kohi it seems.

Get this, you get muted for saying A FUCKING LETTER in chat(L). And if you tell a fellow online lego block simulator player to kill themselves over the internet(which literally means nothing, it's not like a person is actually going to kill themselves) you get muted for an entire month. I understand that a lot of younger kids play Badlion and know that a mute is needed for saying kys but what you say in chat shouldn't stack up against you. For example, a player that is usually good gets muted every now and then, maybe once or twice a month. Over a period of 1 year a player that's mostly nice will get muted for a week for saying a letter in chat.

There is no reason you should be trash talking or have a negative impact on the game at all. You should shut your face and say "gg" or "gf" regardless of whether you won or lost. It's that simple. It's called good sportsmanship, something this community knows nothing about. In real sports or in professional eSports the opponents shake hands after a match as a sign of good sportsmanship.

I believe staff members shouldn't be allowed to turn off their PMs or ignorelist anyone. Regardless of how annoyed a staff member may be at getting messages from players asking for help, they signed up for it. If they're getting spammed they can simply mute for spam. At the very least ignorelist should never happen as they cannot moderate anything that player does chatwise anymore. Not going to say any names but I've seen first hand a moderator ignorelist someone because they drained them in a ladder match.

I think staff members should be forced to check appeals assigned to them within a required amount of time. Something reasonable, but it needs to be something as some mods just don't check appeals and you'll see higher ups just handle it.

I think mods should dedicate more time to catching actual people cheating than worrying so much about chat. There are chat mods to mod that chat, and perhaps there needs to be more of them. I also believe there should just be more mods in general, as a server with 850 people the max I see a day is 4 most. Typically 2-3 at a time. This plus the issue of mods not spectating as much makes the server lean on Gcheat far too much.

This next one isn't directly related to the staff team but it is connected. I believe that the report system should be done a bit differently, perhaps there are just too many players and not enough staff but the current system gets so many reports, a lot of them false that it seems the staff team just can't be bothered to pay attention to them.

As a final note I think the staff should try and be more dedicated and focus on modding for a period of time rather than laddering then going back and fourth.

I dont want to say names but when i broke a rule the punishment involved was supposed to be a 1 week mute. However i ended up with a permanent ban that i had to appeal along with a perm mute that i also had to appeal. I have also experienced mods abusing some of their given powers so they can play ranked undisturbed. Ex. Mods will play with spectating disabled to get rid of elo snipers and messages disabled so they dont have to deal with someone messaging them after a fight or asking for help. Also some of the mods are just plain rude when you ask or just seem to try and make you look stupid. I asked a mod, and i quote "Can you spectate me? There is a hacker" They replied with "I dont have time to search through 850 names tell me or i'll ignore it" The second quote is more of a rough guess at what they said it was very near it however. I think that mods should be nicer and should also react a lot quicker to situations. Ex. One day there were 6-7 mods on and i was fighting a hacker. I messages all of them and got a response from none of them. Mods are no where near as active as they were 1.5 years ago.

I started around Mid 2014

I have few things to say…

1) not Enough active staff online at a time
2) In uhc staff hardly look when u msg them or /helpop or chat when theres a hacker/stalker/etc
2.5) Respawns…. I die to a hacker/etc staff then ban. i ask for respawn. nothing happens….
3) In AreanPVP Staff Never respond, they need to.
4) Absolute disgusting language. "Why does my dick shrink when its cold" - Fortuity_. SAID THAT IN A UHC WHEN CHAT WAS MUTEED. LIKE THE HELL? That is foul.

The rest is calling MaccaTacca Out….

Macca is very immature and denied someones appeal for "Stop being triggered"… o.O "Triggered" Is that a bloody reason?
also in a uhc ( i have screenshots ) he legit says in chat "Your life is a troll XXX(Dan34jk)." Like is that acceptable?
And Also, In UHC's he just randomly feeds all when he is starving.
Once, He tped to me FULL DIAMOND I was next to a RAVINE It was 6MIN IN THE GAME. And i fall in to RAVINE…..

Macca seeks attention…. Macca Legitmately said the game before banning Frodo And Flint (2 Somewhat famous au players). in a uhc with 100 players should i ban a bunch of cheaters now or in next uhc… everyone says now. he doesnt do it. at the time we didnt know who he was gonna ban. Next game makes sure the Scenario is perfect so he can get a good fill (200ish) then mutes bloody chat then bans these two and unmutes and watches chat go crazy. all he wanted was attention.

He makes me "TriggereD"

—- Done with maccas rant —-
And the trial staff are AMAZING! Until they are normal mods.

Kappa. Thats it thanks 4 reading @MasterGberry
bye bye

I don't mean any disrespect but this isn't real life and players act as if because they know that no personal harm will be dealt to them. It is a bit much that you get muted for saying a letter in my opinion. Anyways opinions aside, I think that there should be button in the tab(next to home, donate, uhc, ladders, etc) that you should be able to click and quick report a player. This can be used for something as small as someone messaging you ez or something rude. Does that sound like something you would like to implement? By the way I don't mind the new mute system and like that players get muted for being rude but the only thing I disagree with is saying "L" in chat can get you muted. Lastly, when you said " It's called good sportsmanship, something this community knows nothing about." I know there's no reason to be rude over lego bricks but its a competitive community, there's bound to be a bit of trash talk, hell if there was competitive club penguin(probably is) players that are old as Badlion players would get pissed if they lost and trash talk too, its just how online competitiveness works, people get carried away because they know they won't be harmed personally.

I think that the staff team does a good job and muted people when they say things like "Mods Spec" or " Stop hacking " etc. But they do not usually spectate the player saying that and all they do is mute him and let him get killed by a cheater a good example was in danteh's 2600 video (

) At 2:40 in the video if you look at the chat you will see what i am trying to say
