Bow drains healing so that would be good in late game but early game you want to sword rush and quick drop your opponent so you get their healing instead of draining it all.

I don't mean these Badlion UHCs, I mean old Reddit UHCs. You could have a wooden axe and a bow and still win a game, since every fight was just a 100+ block sniping game.

oh I was talking about UHC in general b/c there is no purpose in draining all of your opponent's healing (and having them drain yours) just for their gear.

Okay so now you're just trying to take shots at me? So much for trying to have a mature conversation with immature people. I've been around since season 6, before any major UHC gamemodes, and the UHC ladder was always dominated by bow players. Same with iron, gold, and now horse. Bow dominates the server, if you're good with a bow you're great in almost any gamemode. That's not the case with sword, I can be fantastic with a sword but who cares if I just get bow spammed every time I try to sword

Mabye another bow ladder would be good like kohi archer and keep all the ladders.

I just want to thank you for giving the first helpful response on this thread.

But yes, after looking at this feedback I realize that just one or two additions might be best. Not anything crazy.

The bow is a SECONDARY. NOT PRIMARY. We might as well make all the ladders 1/3 melee, 1/3 sword and 1/3 rod if you're going to think that.

And that's where we draw the line, some people may argue that sword and bow are both primaries, because it isn't hard to kill someone with those weapons alone. While secondaries are instead FnS, Lava, Rod, etc… because you (usually) need a bow or a sword to finish off the kill after using the secondaries. I argue that bow is not a secondary because you can complete an entire fight using only bow, and win. But you can't really win a fight with only FnS, or rod for example. But is bow a primary? That's up to the user, given the circumstances.

lol in a builduhc match if you drop your bow, it doesn't matter that much
if you drop your sword (if you could) good luck killing them with a bow lmao

Yes but BuildUHC isn't all of Minecraft PvP, if you drop your bow in Advanced UHC you're in big trouble.
