kb = good for potion pvp / soup / anything without a rod

kinda bad for a rod pvp because whoever gets the final rod almost always gets a combo and it's hard to even trade when they get the last rod hit

Also we want badlion. You're trying to change too much, s12 was awesome you didn't have to change much to make s13 better but this was over the top. Please revert the rating system and kb back to badlion, that's what everyone wants.

Nah, sticking with a system that is used in almost every professional eSport game.

I agree ELO had some flaws but let's face it, why does minecraft have to be the same as all these other "eSport games." Can't the ELO system be reworked to work the same as this new rating system? Everyone would prefer a number over a metal. If this doesn't end up happening I have another suggestion that could compensate both sides of the argument while keeping the current system for the most part. Once someone ranks up to masters they should be put into an ELO pool where they fight only players who are in the masters pool. There will be ELO so they will start with a given number and if their ELO drops too low then they drop out of masters again. Sounds awesome actually so everyone can kinda rank up through the current ranks and then be set into a pool of highly skilled players. Thoughts?
