Is there anyway to deny access to people who have unapproved mods, sort of the same way a forge server will kick you if you connect without a certain mod. If you could create a whitelist that would only let people join if they connected with an approved mod and if the system found any sort of mod it didn't recognize, it would kick them, or with a client it did not recognize. It's probably not able to be done but it's a cool conceptPosted on 12 August 2016 - 10:32 AM
Im pretty sure freekkiller said that this wasn't possible.Posted on 12 August 2016 - 12:46 PM
ive wondered why they cant make it so only vanilla clients can joinPosted on 12 August 2016 - 01:20 PM
Inject clients would make this a problem.Also it can't work unless we have a client sided anticheat, which is currently being developed.

For tournaments, etc. Not a requirement for playing badlion (that would be discouraging)

@Cavasi can you elaborate?

Impossible since I'm pretty sure forge clients purposefully check if the server and client have the same mods, and that REQUIRES the client to fully cooperate. Sadly, hacks don't do that.Posted on 12 August 2016 - 07:14 PM

Client = what runs on your computer (Vanilla, Pixelmon, Labymod, Huzuni, Wurst, etc…)
Server = what badlion runs (probably bungeecord or spigot or something)
Hacks are clients, doesn't change the fact that they don't cooperate. :>
