I've seen so many cheaters in my experience of minecraft. It is just so bad when you see a cheater and they're ruining the game for everyone else. I don't really want to be known as a cheater or ruin people's days. Minecraft is supposed to be fun, not a game filled with cheaters. It's not even fun cheating, like you are so good when you cheat, I would rather have the satisfaction of winning without cheating than winning knowing I didn't deserve that.

I used to cheat for fun, but only with friends. But then I saw channels like xTurtle and Rippedgaming began to rise and I saw what they did and I felt like a tool. I stopped from there and I swore to give back to the community and help with the hacker problems. Overall my driving force is that I don't want to be pooled in with the people who make hacking videos.

Plus as Unshift said, It's embarrassing.

I'll be completely honest I cheated, and I got banned for it. I realized if I cheated I as never gonna get any better and I was just being a d*ck to everyone and ruining their day while hey we're playing clean. I didn't feel at all acomplished after cheating as well, however I did when I played clean and finally hit 1800.

I play pvp for the sense of accomplishment you get a when you win a fight. The thrill of getting better, and the admiration of others once you reach a high skill level. Hacking takes all of it away. You have to live with knowing, that you succeeded at nothing, but ruining your opponents day, and when people find out which they will (they always do) then every ounce of admiration that was once there dissapears. I never have, and never will even consider starting to hack.

im still confused as to why randies closet cheat, like theyre randies so they arent making money from it and theyre effectively only cheating themselves because they know themselves that theyre terrible enough to have to have a handicap so they dont lose in lego man pvp

I dont care if im caught cheating or not, I dont cheat because of many reasons.

1) Why should I have the ability to ruin the experience for other peoples gameplay when im no better than anyone else. At what point is my cheating more important than a legit player who juss wants to have fun? Its never going to reach that point because a cheater is never more important than a legit player. In general humans have the unnatural want to make things fair for everyone else, That could mean banning thousands of players a day or shutting down the sever. It dosnt matter, because we have an unnatural want to make things fair we go out of our way to stop cheaters. The cheaters are regarded less important than legit players because people go out of their way to stop cheaters from ruining the fairness. Cheating wastes everyone time and enjoyment.

2) I could cheat but whats to gain, stats? money? fame? Look at livenator he gained youtube fame (and maybe some money idk) but he is hated by alot of people because he is known for cheating, why would anyone be proud of that. I dont think many people would love to be known as cheaters and very hated players across a populated server.

3) As humans, we have the tendency to go off and do what we feel is right even if society does not agree with us. Would you say that cheating or hacking would be one of these things? I personally would say no, yes we may do something different than someone else but does it always have to be bad? No, we can be creative in our owen sense and still have it be allowed, Youtube channels and twitter where people say and do what they want. However because badlion is a competitive server it may lead people to cheat to get stats, Yes you would get stats and climb the leaderboards but what for? What is the cost of cheating and not earning your place at the top legit? Personally I doubt people would be proud for being known as "the best pvper" if they have to rely on a client to help them. Imagine minecraft got an esport tournament, that hacking player would do terrible in the tournament because they always relied on a client, imagine how they would feel when all there fans see they cant play legit.

4) let me give you a scenario here, Say player A was a chronic cheater and they constantly cheated and ban evaded and got to the top of the leaderboards . Now say player B is a legit player who is not the best but plays the game for fun. Player A might consistently cheat and hack and get away with it. This player might now have the mentality that they can break rules and get away with no consequence, player A might try to break laws outside of games. Say that player got caught, what would there scape goat be? Would it be minecraft? No because that is far from a good reason to break laws. If you constantly break rules in game and you get away with it whats stopping you from breaking "rules" outside of the game. Player B would still be here and be playing legit, they would see what was happening to player A and take it as a warning.

Yes, there maybe short term benefits to cheating however the long term effects outweigh the short term benefits in my opinion. Let me know what you think.

My reasoning is purely the amount I value being able to play Badlion and the risk vs reward of getting caught by GCheat. tbh I actually enjoy hacking to get good stats and just having fun lol, I still do it on some other servers but I'm never going to do it on Badlion again.

Agree with this. Although, I have had a mucky past on Badlion and other servers for my cheating offenses. I have matured since then and realized that I don't want to label myself as a cheater for all the reasons you stated above and also because I feel like it just completely defeats the purpose of the game itself. When I started to realize how much I became attached and used to using a client, I became more and more oblivious to those around me and how many people I was negatively affecting. When I finally came to understand that what I was doing was not only damaging myself but those around me, I wanted nothing to do with it.

Since my last experience hacking (over a year ago), I have found that playing the game itself how it's meant to be played is more enjoyable and I am once again able to have the connections with players that would otherwise push me away
