Archybot is the owner…
he literally designed this system
as in created it himself in terms of designing the values and how it actually functions
It's not an opinion it's objective fact lmao

I really put thought into this and I changed my mind, this is actually extremely accuratePosted on 21 September 2016 - 02:00 PM
Some makes sense some doesn't. Gold I to emerald V players would largely be a lot higher ELO in season 12. I was averagely around 2150-2300 in season 12 and now I really struggle to hold emerald V and tbh I've improved in melee. Also the people I fight in that range are quite good.Posted on 21 September 2016 - 02:13 PM

There are a few things that are different in this season, and I've come to believe this model is a bit outdated considering a few new things we know. For example, Silver II is 1400, not Silver III. Also, point transfers are different. You can't win more than 214 points per match, which by any estimate is significantly less than 31 elo.

If you can't get more than what would have been 31 elo per fight, it makes it harder to rank up, and it doesn't help the fact that you can't just grind off 1300s now, and you fight people the same skill as you.
All in all, the comparison is nice, but with the new system in my opinion, it's harder to get to the elo you would have been at with the old system than it is as of now.

100% true.
214 points is probably closer to 15-25 elo, likely falling around 18.

@Archybot You should pin this.
To be honest, I should probably update it and make a better version of it first.
