"It was also a topic of potential debate so I went ahead and did it. @chay_on9jai 55 cps makes very little difference to 20cps, if anything it's worse. You're going to have a lot of hits not registering, or registering too fast you can't pull off a combo. I personally use 11-12 cps for optimal PvP with an autoclicker, anything above 20 makes tiny difference. You can talk all you want about autoclicker having reach, it doesn't. Modified clients give reach, not autoclick.
And why is BetterSprint allowed even when not included in default MC?"
You're making no sense here. 55 cps, if you use an autoclicker (which means your aim will stay the same) will ALWAYS be a direct upgrade from 20 cps, you won't do worse. You maybe would get the same hits, I don't know what the "cps cap" is, but you're just not doing worse with 30 cps more. Not possible. Proved it when you said "I personally use 11-12 cps for optimal PvP with an autoclicker, anything above 20 makes tiny difference"
"You can talk all you want about autoclicker having reach, it doesn't. Modified clients give reach, not autoclick" Huh. Don't know a good reply.
"And why is BetterSprint allowed even when not included in default MC?" It's viewed more of a convenience mod than an advantage mod.
Hivlik made a video explaining all of this shit I don't want to discuss, but in the end, like he said, it's the server's opinion on the mod. For once I agree with Badlion. Togglesprint/Bettersprint is just convenience, half of the feature is already included in vanilla minecraft anyway (sprint key)
Autoclicking is not convenience, it's a method of clicking faster without doing any work.
look at it like this, and tell me which situation gives a larger advantage
a) a person uses togglesprint to sprint instead of the minecraft sprint key
b) a person uses an autoclicker to achieve 11 cps instead of having to learn to jitterclick

Technically, the whole thing is included in Minecraft. If you set your sprint key to Caps Lock, it works like togglesprint, but it goes off whenever you open your inventory.

I have BetterSprint and use it every time I PvP. Thus this argument is incorrect.

This depends on the ladder you are talking about. UHC ladders are indeed less based on cps, but in a ladder such as GApple / NoDebuff, you will not be good if you don't have a high cps, regardless of how well you aim. Many top PvPers in these ladders are either cheaters or click at 11-12 cps.

Autoclicking is just convenience too, and it may save many future health problems caused by jitter / incorrectly using the mouse for a higher CPS.
Also @Metarus That does not work for me. Are you using a Mac?

However, autoclicking is performing an action which can be done better or worse. You cannot sprint better or worse.

On some servers, it will block all hits entirely if you click above 20CPS, rendering it useless. On Badlion I'm sure that there should be a cap on the amount of clicks the server will accept from an user, but I wouldn't know.
For your "larger advantage" question, I'd say a) gives a larger advantage if you're referring to the minecraft sprint key in 1.7 (Double w tap) I pvped with this for a couple of years, and when I got BetterSprint I immediately started doing better than I'd ever done before, jumping up a full 200 elo in the old SoupPvP server.
With an autoclicker, 11CPS is not as much of a boost as BetterSprint. I can do much better using BetterSprint and clicking my normal cps than using double w tap and autoclicking (BetterSprint helps so much in terms of strafe, w tap, s tap, and so on, compared to a 11cps autoclick which improves your aim a bit. You're gonna get way more combos using BetterSprint than w double tapping every single time you hit your opponent regardless of how fast you're clicking.)

What a ridiculous argument. BetterSprint is a third party mod, just like Autoclick. Fps relies on your computer which is not, a third party modification. There is a big difference.
optifine is a part of your pc indeed…sirdeqdly is so wrong optifine isnt a third party mod

this guy has a point, I mean how are we meant to know the injuries that come with repetitively clicking at a high speed for hours a day? no one has had to deal with this in the past, nor in any other game. and the ability to click faster than others should not be considered a skill as it has nothing to do with skill. if everyone had access to an autoclicker then it wouldn't be an advantage, but just a convenience. if you think clicking for hours a day at high speed won't result in any backlash then you're pretty dumb lol
