SG2.0 Balance Update #1
Here are the first balance logs. I feel like the game got too casual/random for my liking, so I have taken out a lot of useless stuff so chests are more like they were in SG1.0, while fixing some of the issues that were there. Airdrops have received a great nerf, which makes them more of a catch up then a "I have to get it or I lose." I've also taken out a lot of the golden apples in the game. After looking over this new tier list, I feel like this is what I wanted SG2 to launch with, but I didn't have enough data to work with from lack of testers.

  • Gold ingots have been removed from the game - to reduce the amount of golden apples in the game
  • Apples have been removed from the game - removed from the game because apples are awful food, and the only reason they were added was for gold ingots
  • Removed boats from the game - boats are literally useless in every map besides one, and most of the time by the time you find one it's still useless

  • Iron ingot stacks in T2 have been reduced from 2-3 to 1-2 - too many ingots in the game
  • Slightly increased weapon/rod chance in T1s - back to how it was in SG1
  • Increased chances of seeing gold armor in T2 - need more armor showing up in T2s
  • Slightly decreased the chance of seeing sticks in T2 - too many sticks
  • Changed how food works in T2s - will see a better balance of high powered food in T2s
  • Very slightly decreased the chance of seeing chain armor in T2 (1%) - you probably won't notice this but figured I would put this in

  • Golden apple stacks in Airdrop have been nerfed to 1 instead of 2 - too powerful
  • Diamond sword has been removed from Airdrop loot table - WAY too powerful

  • Stone sword has been added to Airdrop loot table - replacing the diamond sword
  • Chain armor has been added to Airdrop loot table - by adding this and the stone sword to the airdrop table, it will reduce the chances of getting super stacked from airdrops, effectively nerfing it

  • Golden Apple has been removed from Selection chest inventory - this was done due to this almost exclusively being picked due to it's power.

  • NOTE: These might take a bit to sync through the network.

    Also - about ratings: they are queued up and will eventually be fixed, but we have to figure out why the rating system keeps crashing the whole network (has crashed the DB box twice so far).

    Since I've played sg 2.0 since it came out (jk but like 4 days after that), these seem like pretty good changes! And yea the diamond sword was just way to op

    I don't like that boats were removed, that's gonna change CBs a lot. If you get into holiday resort then you have less options if you get stuck in the ocean. The removing of gapps… I can see it being a good change but I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'll have to play a few rounds first

    Gapps were only removed from the selection chest, not from the game itself

    Holiday resort is the only reason to keep them, making them useless on pretty much every other map.

    I don't think so. "Golden apple stacks in Airdrop have been nerfed to 1 instead of 2 - too powerful". I am pretty sure that means like you could've got 2 gapples in a chest before tho you get only one now.
