Going back on topic here, on EU my pot registration is so garbage, Vanilla is a ladder that pot registration matters a lot. In your PvP videos I can see you throw the pot then turn around and see the pot splashing on you as you turn. I have to run an extra 2-3 seconds to make sure my pot even gave me any health, so I just bring a bow and extra speed pots, bc not having to worry about my pots failing to register in an intense fight is relieving.
Btw I have 30ms to Badlion, so don't chat about my internet being bad, it's just horrendous on eu. Removing the bow would make PvP in Vanilla tactically less varied.
Has everyone forgotten about HalfCreeper and his bowing in this ladder? >.>
bean the australian has no problem potting fast and agroing, plus, your personal ping and skill level by itself should not determine what is in the ladder. and again, stop calling it a tactic, because its a "tactic" that requires breaking rules

Every time this discussion comes up somebody throws in the word "tactics" and makes it sound like the end all be all of this argument. Just because a ladder is "more tactically varied" does not make it unarguably better. You know what else used to be a "tactic"? Camping, running out buffs, knocking people off high places in OCN kits, overusing pearls in archer ladder… These things were unbalanced and fundamentally not skill based, and in the sense of gameplay they were rewarded too much for the amount of skill they required. So they were rebalanced, be it with rules or a kit change. The fundamental argument that Knockback, Punch, and rods should be removed from Vanilla kit is the same: they are unbalanced and should be therefore fixed. ping rly doesnt matter that much, I got upto gold 1 gapple with over 250ms
