We aren't under NDA, so there are hard limits on what we can know. I would say with occasional exceptions, we only know things we can tell the community.

Building on what Unwise said, staff members are typically more interested in the role since they're closer to the community. Most members are just asking for opinions which are getting removed.

I don't have any previous experience. The most important job of us right now is in my opinion to improve the communication between the administration and the community and vise versa.

In my opinion, there is a lot that can be done to make the Badlion Community much larger and more active on things such as the Forums, but the big issue will always come back to the staff-community relationship. I want to make sure the community can have faith in me and the other CMs as representatives of the ideas and suggestions they want, not someone who has no real purpose and is there to be there. I believe I have failed my job if I at any time appear like the latter.
That's an extremely broad issue, something more specific?

Community managers just seem like a bridge from players to higher ups. What will you realistically relay to the head of community management and other administrators. Don't be vague saying ideas and stuff like that, because there's obviously more to that. What other jobs do community managers actually have.
Let me give an example on why I'm asking that. Community managers on MineHQ are meant to make Reddit posts, fill the community in on what's happening, organize events and other varieties of tasks. What are you community managers actually going to do. What're you guys going to plan on "organizing" if the community manager rank works in a similar way like MineHQ's
It's always going to be hard for someone to say how much information they have and what they can say, it's on a case by case basis and if people know for instance you have a lot of information they're going to start probing you and asking you for all of the details. As Unwise said though, if someone isn't under the NDA then it's safe to assume we don't gain a lot of information that people under it obtain.
My hope for the community manager position is to be a representative of the community and be a voice for them, in the hope to help discuss concepts and figure out what can be done to improve them for the sake of the community. I don't want the position to simply be a relay tool because that isn't using it to its full potential, I want to discuss ideas from the community and see if they can get implemented. Helping the community better understand things like they do on MineHQ would be very nice as well.

Sure.
I feel like the staff-community relationship is currently shaky right now and a lot could be done to improve it. Most of this breaks down into getting the staff and community to interact more and trying to give the community an idea of how much stress a staff member can really be put under at a given time, since from what I have seen the community doesn't understand the depth of that issue. At the same time though, I also wanna help staff members get better acquainted with the community and how they handle things, as some areas may seem rough but they actually aren't, I feel like there's room to ease off in some places. It's hard to describe exactly what I want to do right now in that aspect, but it would involve overall trying to get the staff and community a better understanding of each other while also giving more room to socialize.
The Forums is more or less simple: Right now I don't believe the Forums are being used to their maximum potential as a resource for the community to socialize and create ideas on and I want to help fix that by increasing the amount of forum users (I have a few ideas for this but none of them are priority right now or really past the drawing board in my head) and by giving more reason to use the website itself.
The last part about my job as CM is explained above. If I wasn't really clear enough about this stuff you can ask me about one particular area and I can try to go even more in-depth.
