Hello,

Most players on this server have played other servers before we joined badlion. Most of us came from SG Servers and wanted something bigger than that. On those servers clans were a big part of the community. Recently @Haris made a thread about clans not being active enough, as he mentioned there are only a few clans who participate in clan battles whatsoever. The tournament system I am about to explain was founded on another server, created by @Austin. I decided to give it a big twist and see how it goes.

What is EUCLB

EUCLB stands for EU Clan leaderboards. EUCLB will be a tournament. The tournament will last a season. We will have around 16-32 Clans participating in this tournament (Depending on how active clans are). At the end of every season we will host a tournament. EUCBS1 (EU Clan battle season 1) will be our first one. This will be a mixed up bracket will all the clans participating. This will be a single elimination bracket. The standings of that tournament will determine the position your clan starts on next season.
Eg. Clan A wins, Clan B finishes on the 2nd place, Clan C finishes on the 3rd place, …, Clan P Finishes on the 16th position. The standings for next season would look like this:
1. Clan A
2. Clan B
3. Clan C
…
16. Clan P

From there the clans can challenge each other to take each other's spot on the leaderboards. And number 1 will have to defend their spot and keep it for as long as they can!

The Purpose

This is what makes this fair and exciting. No clan will be able to hold a spot due to "inconveniences." I know that sometimes leaders can be missing or important assets to the clan may be in absence, but a clan shouldn't rely on a few people. A clan should be able to show their strength within every single member. This will help show current standings for the EU Clan Community and keep clans active.

The Process

Every clan will have to earn their rank in the clan leaderboards. A clan may challenge another clan their spot but only under some circumstances*1. Once you beat a clan you take their spot.

- Clan battles will be carried out on the Badlion EU ArenaPvP servers. Unless both clans are US and agree to play on the US Badlion ArenaPvP Servers.
- The battle will be a First To 5 (There has to be a 2 point diffrence to win. E.g. If its 4-4, Clan A gets another point so its 5-4, they will need another 1 to create the 2 point diffrence, so it's 6-4).
- The minimum amount of people per battle is a 4v4. If a team lacks the amount of people at the date of the battle, they must play with a disadvantage for it is their fault.
- The kits played will be SG & BuildUHC. A Tournament staff member will randomize the order. A kit can not be played twice in a row. The rounds will look something like this: SG, BuildUHC, SG, BuildUHC, SG, etc.
- The only way to move up the leader boards is by challenging the clan above your clan as explained below. Once the enemy clan has been challenged, the battle MUST be planned within 48 hours and played within the next 5 days or your clan will automatically be moved up a spot. The same goes if a clan challenges your team. If your team is challenged, the battle MUST planned within 48 hours and played in the next 5 days or your clan will move down a spot. Once the date and time has been set, there will be NO CHANGES WHATSOEVER. If a clan declines the challenge, it will not count as a forfeit, but the clan will go down a spot.
- If any clan loses, they must wait 3 days (72 Hours) in order to challenge the same clan again.
- Clans can challenge clans below them, but will lose their spot and move below the challenged clan if they lose.
- Once two clans have battled, they will post the results in a reply to this thread using the format.


*1 A clan may challenge another clan if:
-The clan is 1 spot above them. (Eg. You are on the 5th spot and you challenge the clan on the 4th spot).
-You have not fought them within 72 Hours. (If you challenge a clan and that clan beats your clan, you will have to wait 72 hours before you can rechallenge them).
-If the clan is not already in a challenge with another clan.

*NOTE* If you challenge another clan, make sure to mention their leader's @, and either haris' or mine.

Ofcourse, all badlion rules.
You may only play for one clan per season. Alting is not allowed in this tournament. If you want to change clans throughout the season, message @SecretAgentMaxim or @Haris on the forums.

It would be way better if you setup a discord for this to be honest, would also be good because you would be able to have one place where you can announce stuff to everyone etc, plus it's more safe than skype and servers are for free

I doubt this will be added, but can CTF be a possible gamemode? It is specifically made for clan scrims and realistically is the most competitive gamemode so far on the server.

This does not have to be added. It will be a player hosted tournament/event just like on MCGamer before it shut down. We had 4 seasons on there and no complaints about anything. As long as the staff is professional and as long as the rules are clear there are no worries.



I see where you are coming from but we have decided to keep it a BuildUHC/SG Kit only tournament. This kit is fimiliar to most people and it is playable on ArenaPvP. CTF Takes 20 Minutes and doing a first to 5 Would take way too long. Therefore We decided to play SG/BuildUHC only. We might add other kits to the available kits in the duels but for now we will keep it how it is. Once a lot of clans have applied we will try to expand the tournament in many ways.

Once you are able to 4v4+ on SG (The actual SG Server) We will be doing scrims on there aswel. (Perhaps replacing the BuildUHC/SG Duels).



It will be organized well. I have played 3 seasons in another tournament like this. There were no complaints. They had professional staff. Good referees. Active clans and clear rules.

And make sure to apply, can't wait to verse you guys!

You can actually do 5v5 SG on badlion, but nobody knows about it and the system means you must be in the clan on the forums. Sorry for the promo but I made a recent thread concerning this which sadly didn't get enough attention (https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/146366)

Also, with the 5v5 PUG Match Making coming out soon, you really should have:
Arena (Build, SG, UHC, Soup, Debuff)
SG (if they make the 5v5 system easier)
CTF (2 Vetos and Bo3)

These are what are going to be pushed by badlion for Competitive, so by having them all it will seriously help the community mature to a more competitive environment in a shorter period of time
Obviously Skywars and Rush aren't out yet so its impossible to play them rn

I see where you are coming from once again, and I agree with nearly all of it, but right now if we have 10 different kits and options the tournament wont be equal, it will be mixed up and confusing, once we get more clans into the tournament/event we will definatly expand it! (Adding more kits/CTF). We are in "Beta" right now.

And Yes, @Kiivo, I knew about the 5v5 thing on SG, its just not popular at all. I'd love to scrim people on it.
