It's fairly known that how fast you click determines what bar you can reach with your PvP skill. If you are like me and can only achieve 7cps, then you can guarantee you won't be fighting on par with people like iHackLite soon…just kidding. Ever. Despite what anyone says, having 15cps is a major advantage over clickspeeds below 10.Alright, anyways…here is the thing. I can't jitterclick and nor do I want to. Butterfly clicking is now bannable on every server pretty much as well which means I am stuck with 7cps max. It is sad that clicking is so important in this game but there is no changing that. Does anyone have some advice on what I can do to avoid the inevitable bar that my clickspeed will cap for me? Butterfly clicking definitely raises it and allows me to achieve what I could never do without clickng 13cps+, but I would risk being banned.

What I do is just keep PvPing. I only get like 6-7 cps so I feel your pain. Practice makes perfect.Posted on 19 December 2016 - 05:46 PM
There are some top players that click 6-7 cpsPosted on 19 December 2016 - 05:50 PM

Stimpy definitely clicks over 10cps. Whether or not he jitterclicks to achieve that is irrelevant.

i click 7-9 cps and i can beat a lot of the top players. Aim > click speed and also having a consistent click speed is better than an inconsistent sometimes fast click speedPosted on 19 December 2016 - 06:23 PM

aim is not better than clickspeed…yeah, if you can aim with 5cps then youre better off than failing to hit the target at all with 15cps, but you will never get the first hit and will always be outreached with a slow clickspeed regardless if your aim is good or not.

Aim is better, what's the point of clicking 15 CPS but not being able to get the first hit or continue ur a combo because your cursor falls off?

@GoodEnchant always comes to mind as my first example of a good player without 10+ click speed, but he beat me to the thread anyways.CPS doesn't limit your skill cap much at all. High CPS is useful in kits such as GApple as explained by Unwise, but isn't worth sacrificing accuracy for.

I think the point is, aim is more important, but what does it matter since the only people you have to worry about are the people who don't have any problem aiming and jittering?
In other words, as near as I can tell, he's in a similar pit to me where it seems like people who can jitter and aim reasonably well always win easily.
I'm honestly curious. I've gotten some feedback on this, including a rather long and interesting writeup from hivlik I think, but it ends up conflicting, and all I know from personal experience is that people who jitter at least appear to have a ridiculously unfair advantage, as long as they aren't really bad and can't hit the target. Is this the case, or just my imagination/people hacking and claiming to jitter?
