How did I have the inkling that you're a CS:GO player? I don't play it myself, but it seems that the crankiest of MC players are often CS:GO players as well.

I'm pretty sure the point in making this thread is to ask opinions from other people on how to get better. Apparently a good reference point for skill level is the two listed individuals, whom I personally have never heard of (I don't keep up with "famous" MC PVPers). This poor guy just wants to improve his in-game abilities, and your response is along the lines of "You're bad at the game, and you'll never be better." That's in no way constructive.

It must be really disheartening to try all those different techniques and STILL not come out on top. Hell, the guy's paid 75 dollars for the Lion rank, so if I were him, it better be worth my time.

stupid thread to be honest, if you aren't good you aren't good. clearly if you have to bow spam and lava spam to achieve GOLD 3, and claim to have tried every melee technique and are still bad, the answer is simple. you aren't good at melee and likely never will be.
