Dear Badlion community, considering that active forum members are the best representation of loyal badlion players, I pose the question again, Elo vs MMr. In my opinion, Elo makes the gamemode more competitive, and MMr can be limiting. The best example of this that I can provide is how once you get past 1000 points in Masters, it won't show on the in-game leaderboards. I know that this thread will be locked very quickly, but I just miss the more competitive atmosphere that elo brought to the table. I won't respect anyone that says that elo is "outdated" or "meant for chess and chess only". I'm pro elo, but what is the loyal communities stance?Elo def.:The Elo rating system is a method for calculating the relative skill levels of players in competitor-versus-competitor games .
MMr def.:Matchmaking Rating, or MMR is a value that determines the skill level of each player.

P.S. I don't really care what the owners think of regarding this subject. I will take what the owners say regarding this topic with a grain of salt.

MMR > ELOThere was no point in you making this thread, no matter how many "votes" you get or wharever MMR won't be getting removed anytime soon

MMR is better but there needs to be more improvements to itLast edited on 07 January 2017 - 05:57 PM by LegibleToe762
ELO won't come back but why do people complain about MMR and want ELO back so much? What was good about ELO that MMR doesn't have? Finding the best of both systems would be the best way of going about this, not just rejecting change.Posted on 07 January 2017 - 06:06 PM
I don't care if it comes back or not, I just want to know what the loyal players prefer.Posted on 07 January 2017 - 06:27 PM
MMR has it's downsides but overall I believe that it's a better system than ELO. MMR has the upside of being competitive while also being fun by having you move throughout the ranks. I like both of them, but MMR just overpowers ELO in my opinion.Posted on 07 January 2017 - 06:31 PM
MMR is the better system it just needs tweaking a little bit still which will be done for s15, after all this was the 1st full season using it lolLast edited on 07 January 2017 - 06:37 PM by minneapolis_PC
I honestly really prefer MMR over ELOPosted on 07 January 2017 - 06:47 PM
Here since season 5, so I guess you can count that as loyal. MMR is better.Posted on 07 January 2017 - 09:08 PM
I just like MMR because u don't sweat as much to get the Ominous RequriementsPosted on 07 January 2017 - 09:22 PM
I like the nostalgia of elo, but MMR is the superior system.Last edited on 07 January 2017 - 09:56 PM by DaGoldBrick

I never said that? I said that MMR is competitive AND fun, while ELO is just competitive. Overall, MMR is just a better system. There isn't much more to it than that
