Hey folks. We are super close to the beta for Badlion Esports. Our team is busy scrambling around trying to get all of the last minute things put into place for this coming Monday (February 6th). There are a few things I would like to highlight about the beta quickly.

Who has beta access?

1. If you have a lifetime rank on Badlion you will get automatic access to the beta. This will not include your free access time we are giving away to the lifetime ranks as described here: https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/144529
2. If you have a Famous/Famous+/Partner rank you are given automatic access to the beta.
3. If you do not have access to the beta and wish to participate you can buy access to the beta buy subscribing to Badlion Esports on the new store (finally going live soon, will update this post when it is ready). You will automatically be given additional time to cover for the beta and your actual subscription time will start on February 20th (full release).

What is a beta?

A beta is a testing period that comes before the full release of a product. During this time there are generally a lot of bugs and problems and we rely on the players to help us test/find those problems. We have only tested the Badlion Client on a limited number of computers/system configurations and we imagine there will be a lot of problems for people who have unusual setups. We will make a special forum for Badlion Esports Beta bug reporting. Please direct all problems to it (link will go here when I make it). I can also promise/guarantee that we will have to take the servers offline at some points to fix bugs as well. Please be patient with us as we work very diligently over the next 2 weeks to fix as many bugs as possible before the full release. There will also likely be some stat resets during the beta as well. There will also be a stat reset when the beta ends before full release.

Conclusion

Thanks everyone for your continued support and I am looking forward to seeing you guys in some PUG matches very soon. Not all features will be available/functional during the beta but we will be working hard to try and add missing features as we can. This is going to be a product that we will continue to develop over years to come and we will continue to improve upon the product based on community feedback. We are going to make Minecraft into a competitive game title together here at Badlion with ESL's help :)
