I'm going to try and not make this too long, but it probably will end up becoming very long. The short part is going to be welcome to @McNerdx and @Morsinius as new senior mods on Badlion. We pay attention to the work our moderators do and you both have been very consistent and dedicated over the past 6 months. We hope that you are able to come up with new ways to solve our communities problems and are able to help lead a new era of mods into the future of Badlion Network.

Badlion was founded over one and a 3/4 years ago by Archybot and Badlion HCF Faction. I Joined a little less than 1 and a half years ago. It has grown a lot since then. A lot has also changed in this time. I won't say that everything done in this time was done right, I won't say mistakes weren't made, but in the end most things have turned out for the best. One of the hardest things to do as a human is to say goodbye and let go of something. This is true for anything that you have spent a long time "investing" in. For instance, a lover (most of you are young and might not have experienced this yet). It's very hard to say goodbye after talking to someone for 6 months or more every single day. It's the same with gaming communities. Archybot and I were part of our own gaming community for a good 5-6 years. It was very very hard for me to say goodbye and move past it after working with it as a staff member for 3-4 years all the way up to a developer position on that server.

Along with Badlion's growth we've discovered that some people who were previously staff were not good fits and candidates for it, and over time we've removed some of these people. Most of the staff members who were around before I came along are either gone or super inactive at this point. They have lost interest in the game and moved on to other things for the most part, which is a normal thing to do in life. Two of the old staff members have done an exemplary job helping our server to grow in the past, and I would like to type up a bit for each of them.

@Viprite, you are an annoying piece of shit. Yet I can't help from feeling attached and caring for you. You haven't had the easiest home life, but you have slowly grown up with us at Badlion. You have proven you are a dedicated member of our community over the years and have done anything and everything you could to help it to grow. When you first came on you were aiming to help clean up the community with a lot of passion and drive like any other staff member. You were one of the best pvp'rs in the game at the time and falsely banned for it as well. Through you we expanded for a couple of months to Garry's Mod. You put a lot of time and work into that gaming community, but in the end we took it away from you because we felt it was not in Badlion's best interest in the long term. After that you continued to stick by Badlion's side and were eventually given the rank of Senior Moderator. With your new powers you helped to lead new moderators (a lot of who are still here) into their current shoes. It is regrettable and hard for me to ask you to step down for a while to let some new blood take over while you find passion and fun in your new hobbies/interests. I hope you come by every now and then and say hi to us in teamspeak, and continue to do what makes you feel important and brings pleasure to your life.

@_iFalcon_, the kid who has a 100% win rate against me on Kohi PvP. Damn me throwing out my sword… You've been a staff member here as long as viprite. I remember watching you moderate back on the old Chinese spawn when I first came about. We ended up starting to talk more on the tree spawn afterwards and then you spent a lot of time helping me to create/test the portal spawn. There were a lot of hours spent on that during Thanksgiving/Christmas break last year. Over time you continued to show dedication to our network and always try to offer help wherever you could be of use. It is sad that I don't have the complete records of how many people you and Viprite have muted/banned, because I feel it would be at least 20% of the all time punishments handed out. Eventually through your hard work and dedication you rose to the rank of Senior Moderator and helped to keep our community clean. You would spend in depths amount of time investigating weird scenarios to try and figure out what was going on and punish those appropriately. You helped us on every single one of our server launches, and always tried to help us grow. I will miss our 2v2 vanilla days, they were a lot of fun and hold a place in my heart. You have now found new fun/interest in other games/activities both on the computer and in real life. I don't want to disclose your RL activities here, but I hope you continue to do what you have fun with. I also hope that you continue to expand your programming knowledge, as it is a very good talent to have whether you decide to major in it eventually in college or not. Thank you for all that you have done for Badlion. Please come by on teamspeak and tell us how you are doing every now and then.

We have always tried to make new and creative things for the community to expand and grow, but sadly it does not seem to want to accept new things and would rather stick to the same 5-6 gamemodes that dominate most of the community such as KitPvP, Creative, Factions, UHC, Survival Games, Prison, etc. Warfare was a lot of work and I am sad that it did not work out for us in the end. I had high hopes for it but it has made us realize something. We shouldn't be trying to make the new best game mode, but rather should just improve on what's already out there. This being said we are still pushing for our PotPvP 3.0 at the moment, and hope that we can bring the fun and excitement back to that server. I will never forget how much fun people were having when we introduced war almost a year ago. It's time to bring back that light to the fire.

Well said GBerry. Congratulations to the new senior mods, and goodbye Viprite / falcon. I never really got to work with those two through my past 2-3 months of moderating, but I remember seeing them around a lot. They were good as moderators, but even better as people. It's sad to see them leave :'(

Congratulations to the new senior mods! Goodbye viprite and falcon :( I've never had a chance to work with any of you two but I can assure you, it would of been a pleasure. Love you both to bits! Hope you two go on to helping communities for years! I can't stress enough how good of mods you guys were.. <3

Congratulations to the new Senior Mods! :) I will always remember viprite and iFalcon. I will certainly never forget those times back in 1.6 when Falcon and I used to practice together :)

Congratulations to the new Senior Mods! I wish both Morsinius and McNerdx the best of luck in the near future. Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to work with viprite and _iFlacon_ which is definably a shame. I can guarantee that you will both be missed. Good Bye and I hope you both live a successful life.

I've said my personal goodbyes to both of them. Gberry, when you called Viprite an annoying piece of shit but that you still cared for him, it reminds me of our everlasting love/hate relationship. You are the true backbone of Badlion at this point, Adam. I'm glad that you've stepped up and realized that "if it ain't broke, IMPROVE IT."
Looking forward to playing on PotPvP 3.0 this holiday season.

Awwww I remember iFalcon being the most active tho more than a year ago :( <3 I wish you both luck in your future endeavors.
