Me being in a clan doesn't really affect my arguments as they are not all "opinions" you have yet to say anything solid about my points

O BUBBER oh…
Our home and native clan.
Through patreot love,
In all thy son's command.
With glowing hearts,
We see thee right,
The true north strong and free.
From far and wide,
O BUBBER oh,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our clan,
Glorios and free.
O BUBBER oh,
We stand on guard for thee.
O BUBBER oh,
We stand on guard for thee.

EDIT: Also not everyone wants to pay for or doesn't have enough money to pay for premium.
When clans build strong, great communities, people would rather just join that community than make their own. Furthermore the likes of Rift and Ominous are strong teams aswell so skilled players are more attracted to those clans than making their own. Because of this certain clans grow to extremely large numbers that can be sustained if organised well
I'm not against you if thats your opinion on Rift and other large clans and I agree that clan wars / clan competition is dying out but I have just accepted the fact that clans are for community as both Archy and Gberry have stated on your "reduce clan numbers" thread, even if they were originally made for competition. At this stage of the clans community and with premium teams and official competition hopefully coming soon, its too difficult for competition to ever become the forefront of clans really

Maybe you wouldn't know because you arent in a clan rn, but I know in Ominous example we have 2 - 3 clan events daily where we all get on and play stuff together be it competitive like CTF or something casual like Hypixel. Luckily we are also organised enough to be able to find 2 - 3 clan wars every week unlike other clans so the competitive side isn't as bad for our clan specifically
So all that on a weekly basis is interesting but its very dependant on which clan u are in
btw @Radioactivebeans
I do 100% agree with Puok that these larger clans make it harder for clan competition to occur because us bigger clans are very reluctant to fight eachother because we don't wanna put a Loss on their thread
*cough* Rift VS Stride *cough*
For example Rift and Stride have both been around for around 3 - 4 months and yet only have 3 official clan wars each?

That is mostly because other clans don't want to have a loss on their page, believe me I try to convince people to do clan wars instead of scrims

Exactly its very difficult to convince the more known clans in the community to fight "officially". I don't know how the officers do it but they always find a way to find teams / clans that are willing to do an "Official" Clan War

Rift isn't holding back anything. There still are a lot of clans it would be a problem if Rift was by FAR the most dominant clan. Even on MCSG there were a lot of clans as you want it to bebut there were always a few specific dominant clans for ex: Rasclarts
There will be concequences if you limit the player count like:
- Being forced to kick a player when one of the better players join the clan.
- Less people making it to the clan wars (Global clans need a variation of players)
- Having trouble keeping the clans alive. If around 10 people leave the clan around the same time it will have a huge impact on the future of the clan.
70-10= 60 Not too bad
25-10= 15 That's a problem
When the amount of players drop drastically the owner will be less motivated to revive the clan and even more players will leave
:(

Terrible clan, definitely not a good clan c;Awesome Job tho, hope you reach whatever goal you have for this clan, can really see this clan going somewhere, even more than it already has. Good Luck

rift would be much better if you guys focused more on building a community of players that liked and could cooperate with each other, rather than just adding people with good stats, butt it's still the 2nd best clan on the server IMOPosted on 15 April 2017 - 12:54 AM

Like for example, skwurtle was considering adding a bow player who had a great stats, but he had negative relations with the rest of the NA bow roster. He asked all of us if we approved of the player being added. We all said no. Because of that 2 NA bow players have already left and I know of 2 more that are going to be leaving.
