Oh hey dude. But elo is coming back, which surely would mean sniping is a problem again?

then staying leaderboards is skill and learning how to dodge, which is what all of us did.

+1 on fixing the queue system. Removing alting however would be awful and would prevent siblings or other people who share an IP from playing.

How about removing the thing that you lose so many points from getting defeated by a low-rating alt? There should still be more of a point drop if you lose to someone lower ranking, but considering how the queue system seems to put people against low-rankers often, the point drop shouldn't be nearly that large. People who are low-ranking could of course be alts, or simply someone newer to BL but who is still good at PvP from other servers. It doesn't mean you got defeated by a really awful player, so you shouldn't lose so many points.

Thanks, that's all the evidence I need to report you to the police.

On a serious note, -1 because if people want to start fresh, then they might get banned. It's a solid idea but needs a bit of work.

To be 100% honest, there isn't and shouldn't be a fix to sniping. The only good thing that won't technically prevent it but will just notify you of the possibility would be notifying you when someone is spectating the match, similar to MineHQ. Would let you know that someone is trying to queue you

and then cheaters will stop cheating when you spec them

Adding insta-queue again would stop sniping.

Maybe, it could show you when someone is spectating you, but if they're staff it doesn't show it?

Yeah that sounds like a good fix. I can't think of any negatives right now. Although it would make it hard for non-staff members to spec cheaters and record so not sure
