Let the community as a whole choose if you can craft rods.

Recruit more minigame mods to stop the griefers.

Since most people from the badlion community havent played ocn they dont know how rods will practically ruin ctw. This gamemode isn't supposed to be an sg knockoff. If you were to let rods exist in CTW it would ruin gameplay in a very harsh manner. It would ruin it by making team fights occuring rarely and taking back control of map points would be impossible since people can rod spam you away.

As a long time OCN player and current CM I'll be making sure to monitor this thread heavily and would love to discuss ideas with you guys. I don't have much to say right now except that I want rods gone for sure.

The only reason there are rods right now is because string drops. I'm pretty sure golden drought is the only map that string isn't on itemremove.

The tournament maps won't have (the ability to craft) rods in case anybody is worried.

- Please fix the bug where water can bypass the redstone and pour into the wool room
- I've had instances where an enemy player could stand on the block with redstone at the wool room, this shouldn't be this way. The
enemy
should not be able to pass the redstone covered block
- Do not add kill rewards, it's completely fine as it is right now. I don't think the effort that it takes to get a kill is worth some
sort of kill reward.
- Make it easier to distinguish what team someone is on when they type in chat, for example:
- In this picture the IGN is the color blue, but it says red next to his name. This really confuses, at least, me when trying to
determine what team someone is on or what team I'm on especially since the two teams are always blue and red. I suggest not allowing
name color change on CTW and to just change the color of
the player's IGN according to the team they're on
- Please limit the amount of wool in a wool room, or the amount of wool a player can get from a wool room. It makes an offender's death
less meaningful if he can just spam the wool for all of his run because even if he dies, since he placed so much wool, he can come back
and get one of the many, many wools he placed down. If the offender decides to take a lot of wool and spam it on his run, he should be
punished for it. He shouldn't be able to come back to that same wool room and be able to get stacks of wool again.
- I'm a big fan of all of the fresh stats that I saw, but I definitely do think that a K/D stat is necessary. This gives players
something else to go for than just wools and kills. This also gives a better compersion between a player's playstyle.
- Please make it so string does not drop from cobwebs. This way players cannot make rods. CTW is really not the place for rods, if a
defender possess a fishingn rod while an offender is attacking their wool, it gives the defender a huge unfair advantage. They could
also be used unfairly by heavily delaying an offender by constantly rodding him back. This is an issue on every map because there is a
way to get access to strings from cobwebs from sources other than the wool room.
- Adding more maps is very important to decreasing the boredom and raising the variety on the server. I know this is already planned,
but regardless I feel it's important to highlight
- I really like the idea of a sound that goes off everytime you kill someone. I think it's very satisfying to hear and that you way
you're sure you killed someone and not have to look in the chat.


Competitive:

- 5v5 can definitely work for sure
- From my experience in 5v5s, it put a lot more emphasis on team play and less on solo-carring, which I think is really good.
- As long as the maps are well made and receive the necessary changes when they are released, I believe that this tourney will be very
entertaining to watch
- Also, 5v5s and the limit of 7 per team makes it a lot more rewarding for a team to win a tourney because each player gets more money
than if it was an 8v8 with a limit of 12 per team
- A singal to show that your team touched a wool is a small tweak that is very good. It is a lot more visually appealing to the player
to actually see on the scoreboard that your team touched a wool.


*There is a definitely a few things that could be taken straight from OCN's CTW, but I do also think that originality is very important to a server's success. But than again OCN essentially made CTW in MC, and made a ton of edits to it throught their run to make the smoothest possible to play. I really enjoyed the whole system and structure they had and I really do think that a few things could be learned from them

*I really do believe 5v5s can work and it's best to just commit to 5v5s instead of changing it to something else when the tourney has already been announced. 5v5s are really good for money prize tourneys.

Also, make it so none of their items drop e.g the useless stuff like tools but armour is fine.

Make it so you can drop gapples on maps?? (I'm sure you can but idk this is off the top of my head)

Competitive:

5v5 is controversial I mean it depends on the maps but it can work out only based off of that. Ideally, I would say 7v7/8v8 again depends on the map.

They should put ctw tournaments and you can create teams and servers with the maps to make scrimmages
