Season 15 Kits // My ideas
Hey,

I just wanted to share my ideas about how kits should be edited/enhanced for the upcoming season (season 15). I feel the kits are kind of lacking right now, and would like to share how I think they should be. Now, before you leave a '-1', this is completely my opinion. I invite you, in fact, I WANT you to comment your ideas on how the kits should be, and they will probably be better than mine. One last time, this is just my opinion.

Vanilla - Completely fine in my opinion, other than the fact that you can get a rod as I feel rods aren't meant for Arena Pot PvP.

Archer - I don't like the season 15 test archer that was released some time ago, and no-one that I have asked likes it either. I would say that the Kohi archer kit should be used. Full leather, no speed, ten bread and damage isn't based on distance. In my opinion, this archer takes way more skill. EDIT: Remove punch as well, bow locks are way too easy to get with punch as you know where they are going to be boosted to, so it isn't really skill based.

UHC - Near perfect. The only thing I could suggest is maybe, instead of two Golden Apples, have one Golden Apple and one Golden head? Not sure why, but I feel it would be a bit more of a realistic UHC scenario.

Diamond - For Diamond, I believe that you should only have sixteen arrows. Diamond is a melee kit and bow barely does any damage in it, and is mostly used to combo. Having thirty-two arrows just causes for unneeded running and bowing, which doesn't effect how the fight finishes. If you only have sixteen arrows, you are forced to use them more effectively in melee, since Diamond is melee kit anyway.

Iron - It's perefect, don't touch it.

SG - I have two ideas for SG. Firstly, I usually have an Iron/Diamond sword in Survival Games (the minigame) by the time I have the rest of the items in the kit. I do not believe you should be given a Diamond sword, but an Iron sword, in my opinion, is a more realistic option than stone. My second idea is that you could be given cobwebs in your kit. If this happens, I don't think it should be an excessive amount. One or two. I personally would rather have one, as then it would take more skill getting a player into it, rather than having two where you can miss one but still get them in it with the second one.

Debuff - Completely fine.

GApple - An idea I had for GApple was to lower the 'Unbreaking' level for the second set of armour, as losing your first helmet/set of armour would then become more of an issue which should be avoided by the player by conserving the higher unbreaking/switching between the two.

NoDebuff - Once again, not a problem in this department.

Iron Soup - I would thoroughly prefer it if we went back to having no refills. I have friends that would also prefer this, one being in the top 10 for Iron Soup right now. I believe it is more skill based without refills as the fight isn't won by the player who simply gets the most hits while their opponent is refilling.

Horse - Maybe reduce the arrow count to one stack so melee is encouraged? Some players are good at bowing on a Horse, but they lack melee skills while riding.

BuildUHC - The only thing I think should be changed: https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/169256

NOTE - I didn't say this earlier because I would have to type it for every single Pot kit, but it would be nice if we could add Golden Carrots to our kit.

Make sure to comment where you think I was wrong, what you think should change and what not.

Thanks,
Toblerone

But I personally dont think Gapple needs changing, Gapple is fine the way it is :D , Vanilla does need to remove rod AND bow because bow should never be in a pot kit even though the name "vanilla" means just default minecraft

but then again if its "vanilla" why isnt there gold apples. so yeah I personally think there shouldnt be rod and bow.

and iron soup, I kind of agree with you, but I also like refill so I dont really mind how it would be anyways.

edit: I just read sg, I dont think sg needs iron or diamond sword, simply because we would die quicker just like yoab said

+1 for asking the community to give their opinions.
SG - 1.Keep the stone sword.
2.Add a single cobweb.
Diamond - I completely agree.
This is what I want to see in s15 :)

Vanilla: +1
Archer: I think the punch should be removed since it is really easy to get more hits because you know where people get boosted to. I like the concept of S15 archer though, but i want the long-range damage to stay.
UHC: +1
Diamond: +1
Iron: +1
SG: If you add a iron sword, atleast make the armor better since it would only take you a couple of crits until the enemy dies. 1 Cobweb could be a really good item!
Debuff+Nodebuff: +1
Iron Soup: +1
Horse: 1 Stack / or 1.5 stack.
Build UHC: +1

I think bow can stay but rod should be removed. My reasoning: Bow is an effective part of the game that could be a real game changer in Vanilla. Asking to remove bow is like asking to have only sixteen arrows in BuildUHC. The reason I want rod gone is that it doesn't make any difference at all with Speed II, especially since no-one jumps in Vanilla. It has no use at all in the kit.

Thanks for your feedback! :D

Big +1 to archer oh yeah also UHC is a bow ladder and should be given Unlimited arrows. In s15 it will be unlimited due to many people asking for it back here: https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/132984

Also the ones you said that are fine are good and I totally agree.

-1's to GApple SG Diamond Horse and Ironsoup.

Reasons,

GApple: This would be very much complicated switching between two and would be really confusing imo.

SG: Iron sword does too much damage for the SG ladder no

Diamond: Bowing is really important in Diamond. The people that say "it doesnt do any damage" you're very wrong.

Horse: This is a bow kit and should not be touched.

Ironsoup: I just like refilling so thats why I -1'ed.

Please read my reply to Baldereich.

Changing a kit to appeal to another community/playerbase isn't smart in my opinion. It's like adding Ender Pearls or Speed to BuildUHC to make pot players want to play it. That kit is that kit for a reason, if you don't like the kit, play what you do like.

Thanks for the feedback though, I'm not trying to come across mean! :D

If armour was improved to full Iron in SG along with my suggestion of an Iron sword, would you guys be on board?

+1 to most of these, but I think SG shoul be full iron, 4-6 arrows, iron sword, an fns and a cobweb

nodebuff should be prot 2 sharp 3, it's way too tanky, same for debuff

vanilla is the best ladder tbh, people don't understand how to play it, but when 2 good players fight, it's intense af (more than build) and it requires more skill than build, and the only ways to play annoying are KB swords, rods, and punch bows. KB swords should stay, but rods and bows should be removed as they are nonspeed items and they're AIDS.

build is ok just remove 16-20 arrows

Current archer is good, just remove speed, distance-based damage, punch, and that stupid sand map it's gay

ironbuild should come back to ranked

same as skywars

and yeah that's it but don't remove vanilla

I don't think they'll remove Vanilla. Build is fine with sixty four arrows. Back in season 12 (when BuildUHC was the best in my opinion) it still had sixty four arrows. + People can still bowspam with fourty six if that's what you're worried about. I completely agree with archer, especially that map. It's too big (takes way to long to run to each other to fight at the start) and the terrain is terrible for PvP. I don't mind terrained maps, but that terrain isn't very good for fighting. I would love for IronBuild to come back; I doubt it will. Skywars has already been announced, we just don't know if it will be ranked.

Thanks for the feedback! :D
