****** The Build tournament has been delayed a week until after the CTW Tournament, October 7th.We here at Badlion seek to promote competitive play between players, and we felt that we weren't hosting enough tournaments to foster that sentiment in our community. If we want competitive players, we must ensure the means for them to be competitive.
We wanted to accommodate the many different sub-communities within the Badlion community, and therefore tried to be as diverse with the kits as possible, within reason.
Today, we are announcing a series of six tournaments that will be occurring throughout the next three months.
These tournaments will have two week gaps between each other, allowing time for practice and crafting a roster.
The tournament dates are displayed below:
Graphic (Contains prizes, dates, tournament type, team sizes)

For the 5v5 tournaments, the Badlion Client (BLC) is required.
The Badlion Client will detect any cheaters in the tournament and we will appropriately punish them. It will effectively ensure fair gameplay for all participants. In addition to the tournament, the client can be used in general play on any server.
Each tournament will have its own announcement thread. However, these rules, in addition to the standard Badlion rules, must be followed if applicable at all tournaments:
Usage of any unauthorized client modifications/hacked clients
Usage of any sort of external device that gives the player an unfair advantage over other players
Threatening, harassing or bullying other players
Exploiting game-breaking plugin issues/abusing bugs
Failure to follow directions given by Tournament Staff
Any action that causes a disruption to the event
Any form of poor sportsmanship and/or disrespect, publicly or privately
Evading an IP ban (We will wait to issue the bans 5 minutes before the tournament starts)
If you do not follow the instructions given by a helper, you may be disqualified.
If you violate these rules, you may be banned and or disqualified.
Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at the tournaments!

It says for the 5v5 tournament you have to use the Badlion Client, why not make that the same for the 2v2 tournaments, etc as well? Or is that already the case and I am just reading it wrong?Posted on 23 June 2017 - 07:46 PM

Generally how we approach this is by establishing a standard server based off of best average connection for all parties involved. If two players who are set to compete against each other wish to duel on a specific region, separate from the standard one, they are allowed to do so.
However, if the players cannot mutually agree on a region, NA is the standard.

not only do i feel like this is too late, prizes aren't good for the 2v2 tourneys and most of the top players already have premium. should be cash prizes for all and bigger prize pools for the 5v5 especially if they're forced to play on BLCPosted on 24 June 2017 - 12:31 AM
>money tourneyI wish I could run the fucking client to actually participate in this.
