"Use bootcamp"

"True - thats a short term solution though!1!11
It can't be that hard to find a way to release it on mac :)" - Flashy

"It is. About 6 months of work has to be completely reprogrammed from scratch. That's also just an estimation based on the current size of our code base. It will get worse over time." - MasterGBerry

Seems like you guys had no intention - but now that you have enlightened me I will, like 10% of your community wait for your mac BLC client. Until then (estimated 1 year from now based on your lack of current prioritization to create it and the length that it will take to create it when you guys finally decide to pick up the rest of the community), we will enjoy seeing other users play in the 5v5 tournaments while watching on the livestream - wouldn't call this gross misinterpretation of what I have been told at all. Just seems like Mac users will be eventually ruled out of all badlion gamemodes, but then again that's a decision you guys make.

I'm a simple guy, everyone should have the same opportunity to play the tournament, or the tournament isnt really a competitive test to find the best player. I'd say make the BLC available to everyone as first priority and then develop it from there - that way no portion of your beloved community is left behind. That's all I am asking for.

Id also like to thank you for actually replying and reviewing over the comments of the community. In simple terms "make the BLC available for Mac ASAP because it isnt equitable."

As for the allocation of resources mate, you guys have enough cash and support - probably more than any other competitive PvP server in the game. You should be able to allocate some time and money and resources and effort in the very near future to create the BLC for Mac.

(bootcamp is a terrible solution because of how much space it requires on your computer, how much lag it causes, and the fact that you need a valid windows key).

I won't address the technological aspects; I'll leave that to Gberry and the other devs since they know it well more than I do, but I will address your complaints with Bootcamp. It's a perfectly good solution; it doesn't require a huge amount of space on your computer (30-40 gigabytes is standard, and it'll also run other Windows games). It doesn't cause any lag at all. I don't even know where you're going with this whole point. Let me explain; I'm a bootcamp user myself. Windows and Mac run separately. Never at the same time. On boot up, you select; Windows or Mac. If you're running mac, all of the resources will go to Mac, and vice versa. Lastly, a Windows Key is like 30 bucks. If someone you know built a PC, you can take their Key. A key can be used literally infinite time. It is so irrelevant and such an easy thing to get.

Lastly, not a huge amount of the competitive community uses Macs. Most high level players have gaming setups, and for the few of us who have Macs, we have to get Bootcamp. It's a 30 dollar investment. If you want to be competitive and try and go for the prize pool level games, then sure, but you need to pay a little. I don't see the huge complaints here.

Simple: thats 30 bucks that Mac users HAVE to pay in order to receive the same equal benefits that other users get. Not everyone is blessed with those 30 bucks either.

So uhm…. you have 1k+ for a Mac but you don't have 30 bucks?

my parents bought my computer because I have to have one for school lol

the issue is more equity related, Mac users are worse off because we HAVE to pay 30 in order to receive the same benefits (which isnt fair) but regardless. Badlion's points are clear, they have different priorities, I just disagree with them.

Ideally 4, but it may vary on a tournament by tournament basis.

is there any chance you'll give any official roster size for every gamemode? it would be cool for teams to know it so they will be able to maintain ther roster as long as they can
