-1I do not agree, having more then 1 completely bow based ladder in a competitive (ranked) ladder is pointless.
I currently do not like the kits badlion offers in season 15 overall.
In my opinion the current (ranked) kits display similar skills in each ladder, for example; whats the point having a nodebuff and debuff ladder when they support the same concept. Back in season 12 there was ranked iron build, it was a pointless kit to be in ranked because it represented the exact same skill set as the build UHC ladder which is pointless.
What i'm trying to get to is that having 3 bow based ladders that represent (almost) the exact same skill is absolutely pointless and doesnt represent competitive minecaft.
The only kits that should be in ranked (my opinion) are
SG, Build UHC, NoDebuff, Archer, Gapple, Soup and Diamond
All these kits represent skill set.
SG - ROD, BOW, SWORD, FLINT
BUILD UHC - ROD, BOW, SWORD, LAVA
NODEBUFF - POTS, ENDERPEARLS, SWORD
ARCHER - BOW
GAPPLE- SWORD
SOUP - SWORD, REFILL
DIAMOND - SWORD, BOW
2 LADDERS WITH RODS (Secondary weapon)
4 LADDERS WITH BOWS (Secondary weapon)
6 LADDERS WITH SWORDS (primary weapon)

Iron is short range, whereas archer is long range. Two different things. And why remove debuff? It's a great kit that is the only one that offers debuffs with vanilla gone.

Because debuff and nodebuff is liteally the same thing and thats why debuff should be a unranked kit, same goes to UHC and Iron. UHC is(Mostly)LONG range same with Archer, and Iron is short range just like diamond, whats the point having all those pointless kits in competitive ladders that represent the same skill set, I just don't get it lol..

I can tell you haven't played many bow kits and are a sword fan… Every bow kit represents a different range and has different tactics, more kits is always better because of the fact that it can cover more small or big skill sets. By your logic you can say Build and SG are the same because they are rod based. Why have just "sword" kit like Gapple when you can have "sword + different skill"? You are contridicting yourself. You can't just say sword or bow and expect they are the same skill sets as other bow and swords. Sword in diamond is far more different than sword in NoDebuff

What you say would make sense if bow was a secondary weapon.
It's not though, it does direct damage, (even more than a sword, a power V bow does more damage than a sharp V diamond sword)
Rod, Flint and steal, lava buckets, are secondaries because you don't do direct damage but it helps you do it.
Also, bow isn't just "bow", there is short, mid and long range, the skill sets needed in archer, UHC, and iron are not the same at all.
(+ nodebuff and debuff are completly different, debuff pots are a big change)
Overall, I don't really agree with what you define as "skill set"

They are both no where near same, yes similar but both require different skill sets. In diamond bow comboing is the priority in Iron it is doing damage with the bow
yeah you're right
After all I think keeping it isn't a bad idea, there are not enough bow kits so I guess it won't hurt, + it's actually not that bad if the maps don't suck

Bow is a very important part of the kit. It provides knockback from range and does a small amount of damage, certainly enough to change the direction of the fight.

Most of the top players weren't especially good at bow/shortrange, they were just very sweaty, played like you would do in SG, saving arrows, run to heal, etc. I've only seen one player that was really above that and managed to win against good players without playing like that (and he doesn't even like the kit).
I agree with the fact that there should be more bow kits, but I don't think that's really possible, and iron is basically diamond except you don't have to melee (bow is impoortant in diamond). So yeah it's a -1 for me, UHC is good and Archer is Archer
EDIT:
Some of the maps make this kit even worse, where people hide behind cactus to avoid bow, can't really call that a bow ladder if you can just do that to win.
I like the edit i kinda got the feeling u meaned me but idk

Iron is a very special kit because it isnt like UHC or archer, no iron is short range and is based on dodging and strafeing. I cant get emerald 3 in archer but in iron i can hit diamond 5 as you can see iron is not similar to UHC or archer!
