The Justice System
Think of the following scenarios.
  • Oh no, I lost 213 points to a cheater. That is so frustrating. That is 213 points I shouldn't have lost.
  • Are you kidding me. Minecraftman62 and racecar5 are #1 in 2v2 Debuff, but racecar5 got banned for killaura.

  • Pretty annoying right, well if you have been playing Badlion for a while, you wouldn't be surprised about this. It's
not fair to the competitive Players on arena to have to face these problems. That is why I have though of a solution
that I really hope Badlion will consider. The Justice System.

Now you are probably thinking, what is guy going about.

I am talking about a system that would allow Players to receive Elo or Points back from Cheaters who were dealt with later on in the
    season.

Let me try to clear this up for people who still don't understand what I am laying on the counter.

For those who are not familiar with the famous competitive game, CS:GO, they have a very similar system to this. If you are teaming with
a cheater and you win competitive matches with that said cheater, it could have an effect on you. If that cheater gets banned, all the
wins the non cheating players received with cheater will be removed. As of those games you won with the cheater never existed.

Here is what I want the Justice System to do.
  • Receive back any points you lost in arena to a hacker who gcheated the following week you lost to them.
  • If you are teaming with a hacker in arena and they get gcheat banned, you and the haccker's spot on the leaderboard for whatever
  • kit you played will be removed.

Common Questions people would have about this + answers to those questions.
  • Q: Why do I only get the points back? it should be as if those losses turn into wins.
  • A: I would agree, but that option could be abused and it would be a lot more complex than just getting back the Elo you lost.

  • Q: Why only a week? If I die to a Cheater who got banned a Month later, I should definitely get my Points back.
  • A: Again, I strongly agree with that. However, I feel that one of the many reasons for why Badlion hasn't tried something
like this yet, is because of tracking old matches. Having it down to a week or even 2 days at the least would make it a lot easier
    them.

  • Q: Why does this matter? Just keep playing to get the points back.
  • A: This would be easier said than done if you were a really high rank where Points or Elo would matter crucially.

  • Q: Why should this only be for Arena?
  • A: It doesn't have to. It seems Badlion is really trying to make the other gamemodes like SG and UHC Meetup with fall under
the ranking system, a lot more important than how they used to be. If they want those gamemodes and more to excel as much as Arena,
than I would suggest have this system start out on Arena till they have a full understanding on how they want the system to work, and
when it is 100% complete. After that, just crossover that system to the other gamemodes, so you lose Points to the player who killed
    you off spawn while b-hopping.

  • Q: Why only gcheat bans.
  • A: If you think about it, more players who get Mod banned are actually innocent compared to players who are gcheat banned. This
would ensure that the points you received back weren't from someone who got banned for cheating, but actually turned out to be
playing legit in the end. Plus, they could just make it where if the player gets unbanned for pleading innocent, those Points you got
    back, are taken away again.

If this said "hacker" were to get false banned, then you'll be getting their points, which wouldn't be fair at all. Then they'll be the ones complaining about getting their points back. Not only that, there would also be other problems not worth taking about. And honestly, I don't see the point in this. It's not that hard to get the points back. Instead of caring about the points lost, you could report the player by either using /report in-game or recording them and making a player report on the forums.

-1, what if someone like the Soyota guy got banned? Everyone who queue'd NoDebuff a good amount would suddenly get a massive boost in ELO.

well that mmr would be valid considering the fact that he hacked in most of his matches

But (let's use ELO since that's what is finna be used next season) everyone's ELO would suddenly go up by tons and I feel that would just ruin leaderboards. I used to agree with this idea but now I just feel like it will cause more harm than good. If you queue a cheater, don't queue for a while, report them, record if possible. I'm all down for the 2v2 idea, though.

There is too much room for error in this idea. The amount of false bans would annoying for some people and lead to many points being falsely gained. If this idea were to be implemented I'd say to include mod bans as well because those can happen quite often and be false as well. Plus like people said, just work and get the points back, if you go to one spot originally you can probably do it again.

+0 should be manual with evidence so people are sure that you got hacked on (which still has alot of flaws but its a tad bit better)

-1 easily abuse-able. I could farm a someone and then get a high rank and when he gets banned I'll double the rank I was.

That was not a sentence so it doesn't require a dot at the end and I bolded the incorrect words so * is not needed. :P

Yes, a good player should be able to earn back their ELO if it represents their true skill level.
