Hey everyone. We got another nice bug fix patch here for the Badlion Client along with some internal changes that pave the way to the 1.2 patch. The Badlion Client is getting better with every patch and we encourage you to keep up to date with it so you can discover the new features each patch :)

Minecraft Bug Fixes/Improvements

  • Betterframes has been given some new config options and some overall automatic improvements to boost your FPS!
  • Fixed Minecraft client arrow counter not being able to be turned off
  • Fixed a Minecraft client crash related to particles
  • Fixed random crashing with Badlion Open servers
  • Improved smoothness & detection of 128 TPS hits
  • Improved 1.7 enchant glint option
  • Improved Vanilla potion status mod rendering
  • Improved some mod preview features
  • Reworked internals for Badlion Open BAC integration

    • Badlion Bug Fixes/Improvements

  • Fixed small memory leak when launching Open or Arena 1v1 with BAC
  • Fixed strange path names when picking a custom Minecraft location in the Settings
  • Fixed race condition that wouldn't allow user to launch client if MC booted too fast
  • Fixed mandatory 30-second wait time for client to launch when an error occurred
  • Fixed race conditions for BAC Authentication Errors on BAC Open
  • Optimized Minecraft <-> Badlion Client communication speeds and CPU usage
  • Added some checks to detect if antiviruses are preventing the Badlion Client from patching
  • Added more helpful debug for when patching is failing



  • Minimized spam in .log files
  • Recolored existing Badlion Minecraft Client's UI



    • We are super excited to be adding integration of the Badlion Client into Badlion Open. We have other awesome features planned for both Badlion Open and the Badlion Client that are going to make both of them shine even more in the future together.



  • Allow OBS/Discord to work without needing to elevate to Admin privileges
  • Global Queueing - Be able to leave the PLAY menu and go use other parts of the client while in queue (Planned 1.2 Patch)
  • Party System - Duo Queue support (Planned 1.2 Patch)
  • Scrim Servers - Group up with your friends and practice some 5v5's on the PUG game modes (important for some upcoming stuff) (Planned 1.2 Patch)
  • Beta Builds - Opt in to receive beta builds of the Badlion Client before they go public (Aiming for 1.2 Patch)
  • Rating Graphs for player progression (similar to our ArenaPvP 1v1 rating graphs) (TBD)
  • More detailed information about queues and estimated matchmaking times (TBD)
  • Game Replays (TBD)
  • Spectating Friends (TBD)
  • More Minecraft optimizations/performance improvements (Ongoing)
  • Better Debugging Tools (Ongoing)



  • Sometimes the Minecraft client does not connect to the server after launching
  • 32 Bit Client might be a bit unstable
  • Some textures don't render 100% correctly
  • All games match history view on player profiles doesn't show Arena 1v1 matches
  • View Match button on match history does not work on specific matches

    So the "League" tab still doesnt Work? Its Not listed under Bug fixes or under known issues. Why is that the case?

    It would be great to have a feature that gives information on optimization when hovering over different video options, similar to how optifine gave info on what the different options did and what gives you more fps. Other than that the client is looking great so far, keep up the great work!

    It also does that if you change a setting. To fix this just reselect your resource pack
