Ok put it into that analogy. The captain of a top team tells smaller teams member to split and make a new team instead of splitting themselves. That's not how it should work

This isn't directed toward you, but people in Ominous complain about competition and so do people in etheral, but the difference is that Ominous is a top clan and a huge clan compared to others.

Also saying Kiivo saying he said he won't help because these are community run and not badlion, clans have been a thing longer than ctf but badlion obviously don't give a shit about clans, so the larger clan members could at least try to help.

I recommend changing the first part of that, it sounds like you're suggesting Tigrah, which is very offensive.
Haven't told any other clan to split up… I was simply suggesting that if Detlef cares so much about it, why hasn't he done it?

@dudedetMy personal view on competition is that Teams should compete whereas Clan should focus on community
This is why I have never been interested, along with the fact that all clans need to be organised to make it work out which I doubt can happen
If clans stopped searching for competition and just focused on their community, they could do great and would likely succeed.
But as barely any clans do this I think its better / great that Badlion is making a Teams system seperate to clans which will have actual competition run by the server themselves
@Chaninja I think what Myles said about making new clans is kinda hypocritical and you are right, Ominous could easily split and generate more clans. However you know me well enough to guess that I'm not going to do that because of my views of clans being community based and teams being competitive
I used to have the view that clans need to be competitive for a long time (even after CTF was released!) and that these Clan Leaderboards are needed / helpful, but then came to the realisation that clan competition goes against badlion's future goals with 5v5 teams with small rosters. Also I don't think clans (including Ominous) even prove to badlion we want clan competition, as PFW was the only clan that participated in the $1000 5v5 Arena Tourney
@Robiswell I would have thought you would have understand in the year you were an Officer in Ominous, but clans shouldn't have clans wars / scrims just to "be the best". If your clan community enjoys them and wants to play them, that should be the reason for participating in them.
It doesn't matter Ominous face, it matters that we make the effort to find new teams and introduce them to clan wars, whilst also being able to make our community happy by providing them with what they want regularly.

"Introducing them to clan wars" Then do scrims with them they're are practically the same except that one counts towards ur record.

Split up ominous to form a lot more clans they would still be ominous but just different teams i guess, would bring it alive again
