Well that's a first… Arena tournaments have been going on for around 2 years now. If different proxies gave an advantage over the other (besides MS) then it would have been reported to LONG AGO.Only point I would like to see a change on is 11am for NA players, however I am going to take a shot in the dark and say its the best all-around time for as many timezones as possible.

That’s just for eastern time think about how early west coast people have to wake up for tourneys

I mean you'd have a point if EU players didn't also win the 5v5 EU Arena tourney and more recently, the 2v2 EU Debuff tourney. Seems to me like EU teams are just dominating arena tournies now regardless of region.I would like to see maybe noon EST starts for smaller NA tournies become a thing though. Once we can confidently host them in <3 hours I think that will be something we try.

+1 on the time it's too early and if you want to warm up a bit then you have to get up even earlierPosted on 09 October 2017 - 05:07 AM
If EU players weren’t allowed to play NA tourneys there would be barely any competition and it would be very easy to win them.I definitely disagree with you when you say 140+ ms is an advantage especially in kits that involve secondaries. If that was the case EU players would have just won Soup and Build UHC but they also won the debuff and arena tournament (in every one of them both finalists were eu)
If it is such an advantage why don’t eu players play on na and na on eu. Be my guest try winning an eu tourney. You may say « Well eu players are winning because good na players don’t play the tournament » if that is the case don’t eu players deserve to have a chance to win because of their dedication to tournaments even if it is on a different region?
Also regarding the time I don’t think 11 am is very early maybe it could be 12 but for eu players that is around 5-6 pm and tourney takes about 3 hours

I 100% agree with this, if EU players weren't allowed to play NA that just makes the game easy and tbh that would cause a decline in the amount of people joining competitions.
Ngl its pretty embrassing that people say 'u beat me cause of high ping'.

It aint a fucking advantage I'm on 100+ms 50% of the time I play and ANY ladder is way worse for me when im lagging you NA shitters are just terrible thats why eu people winPosted on 09 October 2017 - 09:37 AM
