What do you think a "good" rating is
Just state your opinions here. I think that it changes based on the region. Don't argue in this thread, it's just people's opinion.
My opinion is:

NA and EU: 1800-1900 (high player base and more players)
SA: 1700? (I have no idea about the south american player base etc)
AU: 1600-1700 (Me, being from au, know that there are rarely more than 50 players online in arena and the highest rated player is 1900, who is a cheater that has been banned)

I'd like to hear your opinions, and be sure to state a reason why. I'm sure that you guys will all have different definitions of "good" and who knows, maybe your elo isn't the deciding factor to whether you're good or not.

EDIT: The ratings that I have stated are for builduhc, I'm not really sure about the other kits because barely anyone plays them on AU

I'd say that 1700 is pretty good too, but again it's my opinion on it, but the level skill seems to be higher there, I mean, when I fight a 1600 and 1700 I can tell there is a significant change in the game sense and skill level, 1900 is or should be a level for players that are better in terms of game sense and technics but I would consider someone good if he has 1700 elo at least

Even tho I'm bad my opinion is

Eu average 1800-1900

Na average 1700-1800

Sa average 1700

Au average 1600

Why I put Eu above NA it's simple theres a gap between the two regions maybe Eu have more cheaters or more try hards who knows.

Sa I never played or seen players but it get some what decent player count.

Au I believe it has below average player Base and the people that play are really good but people use AU as boosting region instead of playing.

I agree with everything you say except for au being a boosting region. There is a small au community and I've only seen one person boosting on Au so far. I think the only reason that Au players ratings aren't as high as eu or na is because of the playerbase

Yeah, that seems reasonable. Most australian people would be able to get on the global leaderboards if au had more of a playerbase, or if they moved to na, but I agree that 1700 is good. (Sorry, I'm taking everything to au probs because im from au xD)

This season the only competitive ladder on au is build uhc. Skillwise a player who can get 1600 elo at bow kits on na/eu could get 1800+ on au

Yeah, we need to find a way to get more au people. If there were 50 people on arena from 12pm - 7pm, it would be really good. But I'd say it's harder to get elo on au, just due to the playerbase. As I said earlier, if Australian servers had as many people as american servers, there'd be a lot more aussies on the leaderboards

Rn 1800 is good for build

1700 is good for other ladders

But for the end of the season 2.1k build and 1900 for other ladders is good

If you think about it, half of people will fall below 1400 because they're below average and lose more than they win, but I'd say "good" is anyone 1700+, great is 2000+

i can't say much for sa and eu but I think 2000 elo is pretty good for na and eu. im at 1900 and everyone plays super annoying lol

A good rating will continually change during a season, at the start it will be around 1600-1700, when people start reaching 2k it'll start too be 1900-2000 and now in the season, 2.1k-2.2k is a good elo, bare in mind this is only for build, however all kits inflate in this way eventually, along with Global. So it's hard to give an exact answer.
