Tournament link: https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/199443Hey folks,
Today I am announcing the removal of 2 maps from the Map Pool for the pending SG tournament.
1 - Par 72
After user complains of the map, "Par 72", being inaccessible or otherwise dysfunctional in scrims - it is being removed from the Pool as it would not allow inexperience teams enough time to fully prepare, should it have been fixed on time.
2 - The "TBD" map
A builder put forward a suggestion to build a map or swap one in. Neither are applicable in this scenario, as the Builder who was generous enough to put the offer in, was unfortunately delayed. Therefore, as described in situation #1, it would be unfair on inexperienced teams to route learn a new map with such a short time span remaining before the tournament date.
In summary,
The map pool stands as this:
- SG4
- Valleyside
- Turbulence
In conclusion, this means that there will be NO map vetos, but there may still be vetos for map order. We are sorry for the technical issues but we are also sure these modifications will help keep the tournament on-track and fun!

Just ruined SG getting rid of Par72 nice jobPosted on 30 December 2017 - 09:09 AM
;_;I'd say the best option is to add Alaskan since it's being scrimmed even if it isn't in the current map pool and just add Forestside (a map that both MCSG Players and others would learn routes on)

+1 Seems like that was the best choiceI can imagine this is mostly annoying for the experienced SG players but for new players learning routes like myself, I far prefer having 3 maps instead of 5 (especially when one wouldn't have any known routes at all)
Thanks for informing us quickly as well

It was in Semis of USCWS10 Also, but since there was no tiering there it's fair because both communities need to find routes

I do like this idea as a former MCSG player.
