There's obvious risks involved. You're centralizing your youtuber/streamer relations around a single person. Another person is going to change the UHC gamemode to how he personally enjoys it*. And a third person… I don't really know much about but I assume he has some sort of credentials that make him suitable for the job.
(* Side note: While this is a risky move, it might actually be what UHC needs. Anyone who says it's always best to listen to the community has never listened to the community. Because the majority of the time the feedback is completely divided and people are unhappy no matter what you do. Putting your foot down and saying "this is what the gamemode is going to be now" might take some time for people to get used to, but if the changes are within reason I think it's worth a shot.)
In closing: initially I felt exactly like @cringiecake but at the end of the day I think it's worth giving this plan a chance and giving it some time. If the attitudes and level of dedication of these new guys are shit then it won't take long for that to start showing. But if this works out, it might just turn into something pretty.

Initially I was doubtful whether their intentions to better badlion were genuine, or if they accepted the position solely for personal benefits. Then the doubtfulness changed to a concern they would make major changes to gamemodes they're inexperienced in without the owner/community's consent. Though I'm iffy about this move, I can see reasons to be optimistic, and that I'll do.Welcome to Badlion :)

It's not just a direct handover. We are guiding/mentoring/teaching them how things work at Badlion to get them comfortable with their new responsibilities. I imagine they will be fully setup by the end of this month.Posted on 12 January 2018 - 12:52 PM
