There are just so many stupid things happening in arena. I fail to understand why these changes are being made.

Global Elo:
Probably one of the biggest killers to arena. Only kits are active are the global kits and some of the arcade kits, every other kit takes like 30 seconds+ to queue making the kit pointless. Very few of the ladders have a player over 1900 and those that do, only do because there is a community behind the kit (IronSoup/SG). No offence to most of the people high on the global leaderboards but I've never heard of most of them which is either because none of the older players play anymore or because it's way too easy to get there due to there only being 3 kits. Being on the global leaderboards should generally mean how good you are at pvp overall. Not how much you can grind into 2 kits. AtReality is a great example of why it's stupid - an incredible build uhc player but very mediocre at other things yet he's second global behind a guy who queues terrible people all day on a dead region.

Elo Decay:
This hasn't seen effect yet but it's probably going to turn out to be something terrible. While logically it seems like a good idea - if a player wants to keep their place on the leaderboards they must actively play in order for the elo decay to not take effect, that isn't what is going to happen. Instead people wont bother going for leaderboards or high elo in the first place because they will just lose it if they don't play. Forcing people to play isn't how it should be done, you should make the server actually good so people want to come back instead of them being forced to play.

Remove GCheat:
This might seem like a wild idea but it's supposedly what makes pot on badlion disgustingly bad. Back when badlion merged with Kohi, Kohi just felt like a disgusting server compared to what it used to be when gcheat wasn't present on the server. According to people who have played badlion since the early seasons, gcheat also made the server feel disgusting, I'm not sure if this is true but if it is then gcheat should be removed with the launch of BLC 2.0 and then the legit players can use BAC queuing in order to play against legit players while having a smooth experience due to the absence of GCheat (BAC should also become compatible with macs so that they can play with this idea as well as have no excuse to not use it). In my opinion they MAY get the pot community to come to badlion as if it genuinely feels like a good server then why would they not play here.

KBs:
Please actually let good players decide what the kb for the server is. Season 15s Kb wasn't perfect but it was playable. The current KB for every kit could be worked on A LOT. The player council AREN'T good players. You should look to people who consistently get on the leaderboards (Bean, Acrolect, AtReality, Raulderp7, Valler etc) for kits to decide what good kb is.

Totally agree with pretty much all of this. Global elo really killed arena even though we all know it was supposed to bring it back. Yet again all it did was make players leave basically every kit except the 3 global ones and some arcade kits. In season 15 even though the kits werent really played, it still had more players than now. Every time i click on the ranked queue i see people playing nodebuff, builduhc and archer, with some bedwars, but when i look at the kits that used to have a point of existing in season 15, i dont see anyone. Completely ruined arenapvp in my opinion, some people can agree with me and i believe a lot of people are being quiet about this just because they werent 'good' or considered themselves good in the dead kits now. This is basically perfect for them. I also agree about the fact that this global system made it a lot easier to grind. For example : Bean. He is #1 global even though we all know he isnt a god of some sort. If you look at his season 15 stats, they werent nearly as high as he was now (not just because there were more kits). He is a good player but not that good.

This post is mainly focused on the global elo system just because it demotivated me, and a lot more people to play. I dont see a point in why it should stay in arena.

Global Elo: +1 I mean "Global" for me is that it's EVERY kit and not just the most played kits.
Elo Decay: I personally dislike it but that's just my opinion.
Remove GCheat: I don't think you can just "remove" GCheat, but when BAC comes out GCheat should probably just focus on Autoclickers.
KBs: +1 they should get high skilled players/ players who are high on the leaderboards to test the KB.

+1 (I think adding UHC sg and soup would be ideal, or just reverting back to how it was)

All these suggestions seems great. However a point regarding KB testing. The players/people who test these things (Testers/Player Council) are players who often play Badlion and are active in the community. To become a Player Council our requirements specifically say the following




We do have acceptations if some players come and ask, however majority of what you are suggesting about the KB is already put in place.

The people I listed are not apart of the player council and Acrolect is the only person who is a tester. From other posts I've read staff members said that the player council made the kb. While the player council may be the active players of the server, not even close to all of them should have a valid opinion on the kb for pot and rod kits as majority of the player council are bow players. Only 1 of the top 25 global players as of right are in the player council which suggests that they aren't good players.

Realistically, if the players have tested the kb why is it so bad? Anyone can agree that the pot kb is awful and many think that of the rod kb too. I fail to understand why a season started with such terrible kb. It probably takes less than a day to make a good kb and considering s15 came to a fairly unexpected end it could have been delayed a few days to ensure it would be good.

Agree on that they need to fix the knockbacks but I don't think that remove G-cheat is a good idea, just improve it that it could make it "compatible" with PotPvP to make it smother

Ok serious question, people talk about PotPvP being bad? What actually makes it bad? I want a serious thought out answer please <3

Also I doubt GCheat would actually do anything to break pots as such, if it did, every anti-cheat would be having similar issues.
