[Tournament] Survival Games Finale - $850 Prize Pool

Today we are announcing the first of our Finale Series of tournaments, a 5v5 Survival Games tournament. $850 in prizes are up for grabs, including $500 to the winning team!The SG community has been a big part of Badlion over the years, and we would like to honor the dedication and loyalty of these players and clans by giving them one last tournament. We are excited to finally be able to offer SG players the chance to compete for cash prizes on Badlion.

Maps & Format
This tournament will consist of the following 7 SG maps:
1. Adrenaline
2. Alaskan Village
3. Green Grass
4. Par 72
5. Survival Games 4
6. Valleyside University
7. Zone 85
The format will be a two-stage format:
Our first stage will consist of two groups, A and B. Group A will compete starting at 10am EDT on Saturday the 26th, and Group B will compete starting at 2pm EDT later that day. Teams are asked to provide a preferred time when they sign up, and then will be seeded and split up into approximately even groups. Each group will compete in 5 rounds of Best of 1 in a Swiss-system format.
Second, the top 16 teams (ties will be broken using Challonge tiebreakers) from the first stage will move onto a Single Elimination bracket stage on Sunday, May 27th, starting at 11am EST. Teams will be seeded by their performance in the first stage. The round of 16 and the round of 8 will be Best of 3, while the semifinals, bronze match, and finals will be best of 5.
Map order and selection will be determined as follows:
(Better Seeded = Lower Number & Worse Seeded = Higher Number)
We will be using a loser-picks map selection system, in which the next map is chosen by the loser of the previous one.

Rules
In addition to the rules below, all Badlion rules apply during the tournament.
The following offenses may warrant a disqualification and or a ban from all Badlion Network servers without warning, and punishments will be harsher than those usually given out:

Update - May 22Hey guys, I am now officially able to bring you more details about the tournament this weekend. I hope you've all been scrimming and preparing to compete for the cash prizes!

Update - May 25Here are the SG tournament Swiss Stage brackets for Saturday! A reminder that each team will play 4 rounds of Best of 3. The top 8 teams from each group will move on to play Sunday.
I'm happy to announce that 47 of the 53 total teams were able to get their preferred time slot. Sorry to the teams that were not, we had to change a few times to make the groups balanced.
