I have the M1 mac mini and blc doesn't work on it… luckily Lunar and forge do but it would be nice to have the option to use blc.

is there an estimate for Badlion workin on m1? for example maybe 2 weeks or 3 months
this is a huge problem for many people.

Definitely in the range of months…not weeks unfortunately.

I am sorry to hear this :(

Hopefully you still have your previous computer if you wish to continue to play with Badlion, but this is not something we can immediately resolve.

Currently the launcher is not functioning with Rosetta 2. We are hopeful we can get it resolved…but not sure. If not then we have to wait for the native support to be possible.

when the launchter not working with rosetta can you make a version in the minecraft launcher normal badlion but other start process on mac you have no bac that why you are not needing a external launcher

Too much of our software depends on the launcher for Minecraft. It is impossible to use one without the other.

I can confirm to everyone in this thread as well. I just downloaded and installed 11.2 and managed to launch BLC w/o any issues.

We will still be working on a more native solution over the coming weeks/months, but at least the current version is launching/functional with the Rosetta 2 tech!

Yay Apple for fixing their stuff after 3 months lol.

Have fun everyone :)

this problem is not that apple docent want it to work its that you guys haven't converted the client to work natively on apple silicon and the issue is that something goes wrong when rosetta try to translate badlion. don't want to be rude and I love your client but just some feedback is that even if Mac is a small piece of your user base and the apple silicon is smaller there is a good I deal to translate it no bcuz the longer time passes more people will get a apple silicon Mac and try to install badlion and it won't work so they will just stop using it and will never try to install it later. plz fix it fast bcuz I really love ur client and its actually hard to play without it
