I've gone ahead and added some rules that I feel need some clarification. Usually we do not inform people of when we add new rules, only when we edit existing rules, but these need some clarification on the forums.Anonymous Quote
This one is simple enough. If you are purposely trying to trick staff members and waste their time on you when there might be actual cheaters on the network, we will remove you and you will not be unbanned for the minimum length for the offense you thought it was so funny to fake.

These topics always turn into flame threads and/or popularity contests. Simple enough, punishments are to be discussed in the appeal section and only there, and only if you are directly involved. Sometimes an admin will allow certain discussions (and they will explicitly state in the topic), but that's the only exception. You are always free to discuss our rules, including these, in a general way (ie, I think this rule should be worded this way, I think this rule should be removed for these reasons, and I think we need to add this rule, etc)

Honestly, getting sick of these videos which prove nothing. I've had everything from edited sound, sped up clips, fake "vanilla" checks, and they are proving nothing. I could literally record myself with tracers, wallhacks, xray on, aimbot/killaura and you wouldn't be able to tell as I would layer it where the screen recorder would only pick up what I wanted you to see (as in I seperate the layers into hack layer and vanilla layer, and then only record the vanilla layer). Pretty much every video has a blatant lie in it which makes the whole video invalid, and we're honestly getting sick of wasting time explaining the same videos over and over.
You do not know them, they are online friends and it becomes your biased friendship over our facts. I've had an instance of two RL friends coming at me saying one of them is legit, and then later on the not-banned friend says he actually found the hacked client on his banned friend's computer. You don't know anyone, period. If I see "I know this person so well, he doesn't cheat" one more time I will permanently ban you from the network so you don't have to worry about it anymore.
These above three rules are added to stop wasting upper administration's time which would be better spent elsewhere and to prevent the spread of false information. Any questions about the above three rules can be asked in this thread.

All seem perfectly valid. Recommend you add "./reported" to the filter if you haven't already also.Posted on 09 April 2015 - 06:52 PM

Regarding rule 1, what if that's the way you've always pvpd, like jerking your head around a little bit in order to help your aim?It might look like hacking at times, but if that's always the way someone has pvpd, that could be an issue for a few potential false bans

Our mods aren't robots. I'm sure they can use their judgement just like everybody else

Yes but they could mistake it as purposely trying to look like they're hacking
anyways I guess this could be easily resolved in ban appeals

There are people out there that purposely do 360's while sword fighting, or just spin a bunch of times for the "lawls", and people you purposely doing stupid shit - it's them we go after. We aren't going to ban you for jerking your head.

Does this include other networks' anticheat plugins? Say kohi or some other network develops a gcheat-esq plugin, are we allowed to question it on the forums here?

Rule 1Sometimes when my mouse is turned around when I'm clicking, I will spin around, not to pretend I'm hacking or to show off but to turn around. My mouse is kinda heavy, and it'd be easier just to spin around than pick it up. Sorry if I'd wasted the staff's time, just thought I'd say that.

Does that mean that if we will say something like .xray set on or .fly in chat, does that bannable or muteable?
