I think the whole getting scattered when shrinked is not a great idea. Border camping is a playstyle of many players like myself. It should still have them be tp'd them into the corner, it is their own fault for not running to the border? After all that is the point of the border to get people to start heading to 0,0. And they should have to face the consequence to get tp'd to the corner if they dont start heading towards the border. If anythig it should be illegal to make a trap or box cornering the border.


Aside from this it looks awesome, I especially love the stats and being able to tp to a player.

@MasterGberry @Archybot in the UHC stats will their be total UHC's won? that'd be good? also a leaderboard similar to potion pvp e.g. Top 10?

Why no more jungles?
I know that it cause fps lag and such, but with out jungles, the only way to get melon is melon seeds that in mineshaft, and then we need to grow them (which the first part of it is easy if you have bonemeal and then you will have to wait about 20 minutes) which make it so the chance of someone getting health pots are like 0.01%
Also, in jungles, there is jungle temple, with extremly good loot, and sometimes better than desert temple loot (most of the time).

Anyway, keep jungles, they got a big part of the game, and are very useful, maybe do it so hosts could tp out of a jungle if people have bad computer and get too much fps lag.

The FPS lag outweights the health potion issues. Very few games people even get health potions, so it's not really worth the trade off.

We reworded the Border Shrink tweak to fix some confusion.

On Border Shrinks to 3000+, 2500, 2000, and 1500 - the border shrink works as it currently does on 2.2
On Border Shrinks 1000, 500, 100 you will be rescattered randomly within the current radius.

This is done for optimization.

It says you'll be scattered with teammates, but what if you cross team or if a teammate wants to betray you? In the former case you have you and your teammate randomly scattered across the map and in the latter you're stuck with someone trying to kill you.

The teammate one is just your fault/bad luck, but hosts could teleport cross-teams together if given notifcation 2+ minutes before (they're all together and actually teaming)

Cross teaming won't be allowed in the future. It isn't fair and puts players who had rightfully made teams at a disadvantage. Some games a host might allow it, but they'll have to figure out a work around. Just avoid border shrinkages and you'll be fine though.

Hmm..will border shrinkage times change to reflect the scatter? Or is it instantaneous

Instant.

We are also now only re-scattering on the 1000 -> 500 and the 500 -> 100 shrinks.

Looks like border patrol is not a thing -_-

Will 3.0 update also fix some server latency/lag issues?

Also, could you maybe do something about the number of HUGE lava lakes in the nether?
