Morsinius decided to spectate me and not ban a blatant hacker, but it's ok since I wanted to lose 31 elo anyway. He watched me get the big rip which I think is illegal so you should take action am i rite.If a person is blatantly hacking and a mod is recording why can't you ban them like can I buy this common sense on the buycraft

I do not understand why moderators cannot ban a player if they're blatantly hacking and are recording. Worst thing that can happen is that they're not hacking and you just unban the hacker but this will RARELY happen since mods will only ban if the player is blatantly hacking.

Just because you say he's hacking, doesn't mean he is. The moderator would of banned if he was hacking and got legitimate evidence of said player hacking.Posted on 02 May 2014 - 11:22 PM

Mods are Not allowed to ban in ranked. Only way this is possible is if their hacks are extremely blatant, and that you are 100% they are hacking. You must also record evidence for this situation.Banning in ranked can cost our Staff rank. It's frowned upon.

But I still don't see why you can't ban players if they're blatantly hacking? Morsinius knew he was hacking and even messaged me while just watching his head do spins and me eventually dying.

He can have a high sensitivity. The anti-cheat plugin notifies moderators if a player is doing something fishy. Maybe he's just better than you and he just joined. It's okay for someone to be better than you. Its a video game. If the player wasn't banned, he obviously wasn't hacking. There was no need to be an asshat about it. You lost 31 ELO. It's a number for crying out loud. You are going to get it back. ELO is just a number. Nothing more.

The nice thing about the ELO system is when you are truly at a skill level you think you are, you will get there eventually.The -31 thing won't be an issue in Season 5 as we will finally have a new rating system put together when we have more time.

I'm having trouble comprehending this. If the mod said he was hacking and he was recording it. He should have been banned instantly. I can see why ElIte is pissed because it has happened to me aswell. No a 1300s noob won't beat a 1900s players legitly if he is 10 blocking with blatant aimbot. @Cavasi I'm not dumb enough to make this post if the player wasn't actually hacking; if you read the top post you would've been informed that a MODERATOR knew he was actually hacking.

You never said he knew he was hacking in your first post. Maybe be a bit more clear the next time.
