Hey guys! Hope you are doing well!I'm coming at you today to get you're opinion on a thing that has been on my mind lately which is the following, should rods be added to the diamond kit?
Reasoning: As I am aware, the Diamond kit should be based around melee as the bow does close to no damage, therefor there is the Iron kit which is more for the users who enjoy the use of the bow over sword which is completely understandable.
Hence the diamond kit is based around melee, I only think its right to add the fishing rod as people have learned to build strategies around the rod and getting used to it, and not to forget also getting comfortable using it and that not having a rod just makes it useless when wanting to get better because you are not going to find yourself going in for straight melee every time on UHC's as an example.
I have taken the time out of my day to hear what you guys think about this and therefor created a strawpoll for you to vote about how you feel.

It's really not a bad suggestion, but the gameplay starts to derivate from sword based to rod-combo based. Many players play the ladder just for the sword aspect, since the bow barely does any damage.Posted on 21 July 2015 - 02:24 PM
