Hello guys it's me again,As you can see by my Elo. I've had all the ladders I play over 1500, 2 over 1600, and 1 over 1700.
Now I believe this should get me a 1500-1500 ish Global Elo. Except I don't play pot, I'm terrible at it infact. I do like 5-8 cps on some $10 mouse. I get about 80-120 fps on 1.7
Here is when I would like some tips. I know the basics like less fov, conserving pots, not block hitting, quickly putting on armour in GApple.
I would like some advanced tips
Thank you in advance,

Spam the w key and learn to jitterclickPosted on 07 November 2015 - 10:05 PM
I honestly find I can only pvp really well with a good texturepack.Gapple- Always try to have a longer amount of regen than your opponent at any point, if you really want to be a tryhard you could conserve armor
Nodebuff- Try to pot as reliably as possible. Potting more than 2 times in one go means your not doing it right
KOhi- Pretty much same thing, but practice debuffs
Vanilla- Don't play vanilla. seriously, just don't, it's terrible <— WOW LOOK AT THAT! IT'S AN OPINION

Learn how to jitterclick, preserve pots and strafe.Posted on 08 November 2015 - 05:10 AM
Yes, I agree. Strafing is key to winning a pvp fightPosted on 08 November 2015 - 07:40 AM
kohi : you should play aggresive, strafe and land your debuffsgapple: str8line crit when someones helmet/boots break and try to eat the gapple later than your opponent
nodebuff: pot once when you have 2-5 full hearts and 2 when 0.5-1.5 and str8line

But learn how to do your own strafe. Mine is normally spam a and d (or left and right #arrowkeys) and I somehow get nice combos
I don't have it is it compatible with UHC essentials and optifine

Potion and armour hud and extremely helpfull for any pot pvp.For gapple i suggest having your second set in your hotbar where you can very easily and quickly hotkey to re apply the armour. I have chestplate in 3, pants in 4, helmet in 9, boots in 8 (I have a mouse hotkey) and if you dont have potion hud eat gapple last and hardcore target when his gapple runs out with lots of crits you might drop them.

And why? I'm guessing it's because you don't know how to play vanilla. Vanilla is easily the hardest ladder to do well in. It's a mixture of all of the pot ladders, trying to debuff your enemy, crit them out to break armor, etc. This is a wonderful ladder and is the root of all pot ladders, and the reason people started playing Badlion.

As you may know, I'm pretty bad at melee. My trackpad limits me from fluid aiming and I can't blockhit well, ending with me being "disadvantaged," as pal would put it. If you ask a decent player how to do melee well, they'd say something along the lines of "aim at the opponent while clicking and moving around them." It's definitely not bad advice, because it's pretty much what it is if you're going down to the basics. However, as awful as I am at aiming, I've found ways to get around it and end up fairly successful in potion ladders (1700-1900s vanilla and gapple, 1600-1800s kohi, nodebuff)Gapple:
Keep your armor in your hotbar and switch to it as soon as possible when one breaks
Eat your second opple about halfway through your regen effect; if you pay attention, you can possibly get a lucky combo and win if the opponent forgets to eat their opple in time
Try to get crits at the right time, such as when the opponent is in their inventory
Block hitting doesn't do much unless the regen effect is down
Hope you don't get tired of clicking too much
Vanilla:
I carry three sets of debuffs and three sets of buffs; on some alts I've got a fourth strength
Debuffs are two regen 2 potions, one poison extended, one poison 2, one slowness and one weakness
There are lots of different ways to play this, but here's what I do:
Drink buffs: regen 1, strength 2, fire resistance, speed 2
15 seconds of judging opponent's movement style
Debuff regen 2 + poison 1
Play defensively, run around a bit
Fight a bit more, maybe 10-20 seconds
Debuff slowness + weakness
Fight until strength and speed are around 10-30secs long
Drink new set of buffs, exclude regen
Fight, debuff regen 2 + poison 2 whenever you see a good chance
Fight until poison 2 wears off on opponent, drink regen 1
If you haven't won by now, drink the next set and hope your opponent doesn't have it
don't let helmet break
If you've been hit with a head-on poison extended, you can throw poison 2 on yourself to get rid of it (not directly on you, since you don't want much of the poison 2 either)
You can drink tier 2 potions over tier 1 potions, but you cannot do it the other way round; ex. don't drink a regen 1 until the regen 2 is completely gone.
This is the ladder where blockhitting is most effective — use it to reduce damage and break combos
I tend to start critting after getting a three or four hit combo, since I don't like to play too aggressively
Steal pots when you have them pressured
Tank
Use the second regen potion wisely
Drink your strength 2 at the right moment, you don't want to waste any of it
Don't use your bow when you have strength 2, regen or speed 2
Don't get tired of clicking
Pot at 3 hearts or less with no regen, 2 hearts or less with regen
Misc
A melee tip that will work for you on all ladders is moving backwards towards the end of your combo. If you time it right, you can continue your combo; generally I time it by looking at where my opponent's head is (moving in when their head isn't on me, moving out when it is on me). There's probably a better way to do it, but this is what's worked best in my experience.
You can also time blockhitting to achieve a similar effect.
You can also left/right spam to get a similar effect, but I don't have much experience with this.
I've nothing for you on nodebuff and kohi because those ladders suck.

In kohi and vannila try to land youre debuffs good play agrresive do blockhit combos and strafe or str8 line use youre hotkeys for health pots.
In gapple be careful about your armor durability do str8 line block hiting eat gapple every time when you start taking damage when you break somones helmet start criting him.
