Enchanted Bow FPS Drop

Does anyone else have the problem w/ forge 1.7.10 when, you pull your bow back and your frames completely die? On my old laptop it didn't happen but, ever since I got a new laptop I get these fps drops with forge. Does anyone know how to fix this?Posted on 23 November 2015 - 09:12 AM
I have the same issue, and it seems a lot of others have it too. Haven't found a fix yet despite intensive searching. Are you on Mac by any chance. It seems that a lot of people with this problem (myself included) are on MacBooks.Also, is it just on Forge? Does it happen on vanilla or optifine (no forge) profiles?
There are at least two other recent threads on this, I think it's a significant problem that needs a fix.

Bump. Checkout the other thread on this for more info. There's a bfg.class file used to fix this issue on 1.6, so maybe someone knows how to update that to 1.7?Thanks for reading. Also let me know if you have a similar issue.

I am on a Lenovo Laptop not a mac and, my FPS goes from 60-80 to 30 and I have used many texture packs, including no glint.
